Well, in my opinion the lead should be revised to make the primary definition the psychiatric one (in accordance with DSM-IV). Narcissism is a psychological illness (see here) closely related to autism and schizophrenia (I have two qualifications in psychology as well as a fair amount clinical psychiatric experience). After taking my 'A' level in psychology I went to work in Napsbury Psychiatric Hospital. It was closed down after UK legislation changed the way acute sufferers of major psychiatric disorders are treated. My own view is that narcissism is related to an inability to enjoy sexual intercourse with another human being. A human being who can enjoy this in a loving and appreciative way rarely displays narcissistic traits. Anyhow, I think you were not really asking for my opinion were you? No, I believe our Dutch friend's edits to the Spirituality article undo the work of many good-natured editors over a long period (I have been editing wikipedia for eight years) and I do not think they improve what is there already. regards 81.106.127.14 (talk) 06:20, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No, its just that you are unable to feel sympathetic joy and admiration for one whose work in Buddhism has been highly praised by leading scholars and practitioners or indeed that my work has been translated into Mandarin, Thai and Burmese and read on every continent of the globe. You have a very fragile ego and it is that which compels you to show resentment and hostility rather than respect and humility. To you it is boasting but to me it is displaying my credentials. I would be very surprised if you have a bachelor's degree. You certainly have no experience in publishing. Your copy-editing is appalling. Your English is clumsy and inelegant, full of errors of grammar and syntax.
