WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:21, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi, Jevona20, I'm beginning the copy-edit for the above article that you requested at the GOCE Request page. Please feel free to contact me, and to correct or revert my changes if I'm doing something I shouldn't. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 23:40, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Does the article need a separate section for the South American 'Aircross' models? It looks as though two articles have been stuck together. Can this be integrated into the main article's text? The Aircross/Reviews section needs to discuss more than two reviews, though I realise that language barriers will cause a problem there. I also found several unreferenced passages which I've marked with {{citation needed}} templates. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 06:26, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- In both cases of these citation needed tags the information is cited by the next citation, at the end of the very next sentence ([167] and [173]). Now if i reuse them twice i think it would look like over-citing since they're so close anyway.
- And going back to the Aircross - it is a vehicle created from minor changes to the Picasso, and sold as a different vehicle. The Automobile Wikiproject regard it as a trim and say not to separate it. I have purposely combined what i can into the main article, but the rest is different or exclusive to Latin America. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 10:21, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- The language barrier is a minor issue, the real issue is finding anything out there about the vehicle as it doesn't appear popular at all. I named the reviewers solely because i have only found a few decent reviews, which are different enough to feature. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 10:24, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for explaining; I'll check and remove the 'citation needed' tags, and will try to integrate some of the Aircross text - probably later tonight. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 19:39, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- I've made the argument that every sentence should be cited, even if it's the same thing. If you choose not to do this, it's helpful to leave hidden comments so other editors understand that the material is cited. Ryan Vesey 19:42, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

I've removed all except one, which is in 'Aircross'-->'Advertising'. Sorry for my misunderstanding, Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 01:19, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think there's any more I can do at the moment, so i'm declaring the copy-edit Done. Please feel free to contact me about any issues arising from it. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 21:00, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

- I've reworded the section in question. Can you lemme know what you think now? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 20:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

I'm glad that you found a suitable source for this part of the section, it sounds like a really cool advert. The sentence "The advertisement was shown in English in the French market, to the song Somebody come and play by Joseph J Raposo." could be rephrased as "The advertisement was shown in the French market using the English-language song "Somebody Come and Play" by Joseph J Raposo." or something similar; using 'to' sounds a little strange to me. If the music was the only English language feature of the ad, it might not need to be remarked upon, but if there was English narration it would be unusual and I think would warrant a mention. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 23:33, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- I've changed it to your recommendation. Thank you very much for your hard work ツ Jenova20 (email) 09:20, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Wording changes to Mail Online
Hi Jenova20! I recommend making a new comment on the talk page and/or DRN discussion with a quote of your new text and explanation of your changes. That'll make it easier for other editors (including me) to respond to your text and reasoning. Dreamyshade (talk) 10:53, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'd prefer the DRN in that case where a neutral wording can be decided with or without Collect. The talk page is being dominated by Collect to make excuses for the Mail, which aren't supported by the sources. In exchange he wants any controversy removed which is supported. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 10:59, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Putting it on DRN makes sense to me since that's where my most recent proposal is. It's easier to compare multiple versions if they're all in the same place. Dreamyshade (talk) 11:10, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Okedokie. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:45, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

WP:NPOV is absolute policy. Your desire to imply that MO lied about the article being online for 90 seconds is belied by the PCC report itself - and trying to make that implication is contrary to Wikipedia policy. If you wish to change the policy, it is editable by you if you wish. And note that I am not removing the Amanda Knix story, so drop that Bull**** now, please. Cheers. Collect (talk) 12:54, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- My "desire to imply?" Read the sources you (Redacted) and take it to DRN, rather than here. And please point to where i said you were trying to "remove" the story also. I said something along the lines of whitewash i believe. There is a difference. I would suggest that your last reply is as full of inaccuracies and puffery as your preferred wording on the matter also. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 15:21, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- "Puffery"? If you check my edit history, you will find I remove "puffery" wherever it is found. An accurate dispassionate relating of facts is neither "puffery" nor "whitewash." And note that Dreamyshade and I agreed on such a dispassionate relating of facts. Cheers. Collect (talk) 15:38, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, you also claim to be a defender of NPOV, but then remove half an argument, leaving a highly POV claim in its place...Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 15:41, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- And you thus assert the same about the person who wrote the material in the article - Dreamyshade? As he wrote the version you now abhor, I think you should try finding some way to attack him (or her). Cheers. Collect (talk) 16:04, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- This is not Dreamyshade...It's you...It's pretty obvious too as your name is displayed prominently. Now, anything else you have to say i'll read on the DRN or Mail Online talk page. Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 16:39, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

- lol thanks. :) A few more things came to mind, but I'm not sure about them (Double penetration & Fisting) as they aren't exactly "positions" as in the working title you have, but are "relations" as in the opener. NYSMy talk page 00:13, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- Probably a position or two including those...otherwise the see also section is an option. I've been looking for a list of positions really but the problem i have is people keep naming them differently in an attempt to put their own spin on them...It definitely makes things a bit awkward...Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 00:49, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Resident Evil
Hello Sir! Sections that discuss in-universe material are not supposed to be written as if they are historical documents, as they are fiction. Since the events that occur in the Resi Universe are fictional, they should be written in a present tense. This is common across all actively maintained and GA/FA-level articles about subjects from Video Game, Movie, and Novel. Plot details in Master Chief (Halo), Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, The Adventures of Tintin.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 14:15, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- I see...I did not realise there was a consensus across this range of articles. Thanks very much for correcting me and letting me know. Have a nice day ツ Jenova20 (email) 14:45, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

I got a kick out of that. One story about a Chinese friend of a friend who wanted to a unusual name form the bible - so he got Melchizedek! Or Yahoo Serious. I saw an interview with him where he said that he got the judge to allow the name change but the judge said it was on the condition that he couldn't change it back. Stepho talk 12:03, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- There really are some terrible names...The worst i remember being "Mary Christmas", "Fanny Phart", and Talula does the hula from hawaii". And there was something recently about a German kid taken into care when his skinhead parents named him "Aryan Race". All of these parents should currently be in prison...
- Hows things your end anyway? Thanks ツ Jenova20 (email) 12:28, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Just got back from 6 weeks in Hong Kong and China visiting my wife's relatives. Good to be home - where I can have a nice nervous breakdown in peace :) I did pick up a few rare Toyota scale models though - one of them from 1963, which makes it just older than me .
- If you want bad names, my Chinese name is Si Ga Weng (means history, family, glory). Except the word for history (Si) in Cantonese is pronounced the same as their word for crap. A friend calls me Number Twos. The worst part is that I choose the name myself to help me move around in China. Stepho talk 15:56, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Can't you just go back to using your real name to avoid that? Or is it hard to pronounce for the Chinese? I'm adding another article to work on (Ithyphallophobia) to my userpage as it's quite funny and i can't believe we have no article on it already, even though we do have a mention for Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia...Odd...ツ Jenova20 (email) 22:12, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi there! I thought you might be interested in WikiProject Bangladesh Premier League. We're currently facing problems to run this project and we need your help! If you have a spare moment, please join and help us.--Pratyya (Hello!) 14:06, 19 February 2013 (UTC) |
- I appreciate the invite but i have absolutely zero interest in football Pratyya...to the point of not caring about the football world in any way. Invitation to join the Commons mobile uploads testing week
Uploading pictures from mobile devices to Wikimedia Commons must be simple for everybody! We have fresh software and you can help testing it.
WHEN
- Kick-off on Monday February 25 at 17:30 UTC (9:30 PST - 23:00 IST).
- The testing focus will continue during the rest of the week until Sunday March 3.
WHERE
- Online: check mw:Mobile QA/Commons uploads.
See you there? If you have any questions let me know.--Qgil (talk) 21:45, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
PS: you are receiving this invitation because you signed up to meta:Mobile projects/Beta.
- It looks a bit technical, but i'll give it a try. Thanks Qgil ツ Jenova20 (email) 09:12, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- Mobile uploads shouldn't be more technical than ediiting wiki pages. If you find them technically complex then we are doing something wrong and your feedback is anyway priceless! Thank you for the fast reply. See you there.--Qgil (talk) 15:25, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- I like that i spent a lot of the morning looking for basic svg-type construction tool images only to notice now that there's a giant hammer in this section from you. Thank you so much for that. I've put it to use here now. I will read through what you are asking of me and i'll do what i can to help out. Thanks and have a nice day/evening ツ Jenova20 (email) 15:31, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
Just a comment about something on your user page
- Sonic games are always fun
- Worst game i've ever played? Lost for Xbox 360.
Have you ever played Sonic 2006 out of curiosity? I played a pre-owned copy and while I didn't run into that many of the glitches I must admit the loading times and other criticisms matched up to what critics have said.
Also I just wanted to say that I can find respect in that you're not afraid to admit that you're homosexual. Too many people would be afraid to admit it, in a perfect society there would be equal respect for everyone's sexual orientation whether heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. You are clearly a strong willed person to be so willing to admit it. MIVP - (Can I Help?) (Maybe a bit of tea for thought?) 11:49, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you very much =D
- I do get asked a lot at work so i doubt i could hide much if i tried to be honest.
- I have owned Sonic 2006 twice. It was so terrible and glitchy that i got rid of it before later buying it again to give it another chance. I got further that time but quickly got irritated at the floor disappearing, being catapulted metres in the wrong direction, and bugs which stop you in your tracks when running at speed (as though you ran into an invisible obstacle). I don't plan on buying it for a third time.
- I agree 100% on your opinion on equality also. Have a nice day Matticusmadness and please visit again ツ Jenova20 (email) 13:26, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
