History

Al-Arabi Sporting Club was formed in Kuwait in 1960.[1] It was known from 1994 till 1960 by the name "Al-Uruba".

Al-Arabi Sporting Club is known for the biggest fan base in kuwait and one of the most known in the Gulf and the Arab world and has the most trophies in the Gulf with 55 trophies in its hands.

In the 1990s Al-Arabi SC brought S.S lazio and beat them 1-0.

In 1982 Al-Arabi SC was the first ever team to win Gulf Club Champions Cup,and then won it again in 2003

Al-Arabi Sporting Club has qualified in 2013 for the final match of the UAFA CUP in the first leg they tied 0-0 in Kuwait and in Algeria lost 3-2 while they were 0-2 down in the first half due to referee mistake dining a goal for Al-Arabi Sporting Club and then giving them an offside goal which after that they scored there second goal, after the second half started Al-Arabi sporting club scored there first goal from a header from Kader Fall at the 58th min which gave the team motivation to score the second goal from a long shot distance at the 61st min from Hussain Al-moussawi after that the team was playing much better and at the 75th min of the game the ref gave Union Sportive Médina d'Alger a penalty kick for a weird reason for trying to keep the ball in his possions so the USM Alger player jumped on him and fell so the referee gave him a penalty which they scored in the 76th min which gave them the championship by a win of 3-2 on aggregate that day was the day Al-Arabi Sporting Club was rightfully the real winner if its wasn't due to bad referee's.
