Can you explain [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Requests_for_adminship&diff=next&oldid=62356065 this]? --[[User:Ante Perkovic|Ante Perkovic]] 12:23, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

After being blocked I decided to thoroughly contribute to the Wikipedia project under a different name (as you can see, it hasn't touched any Serbian articles, well some Serbian tennis player thanks to the random article button). It is nearly 8 o'clock in the morning, and I was having difficulties going to sleep, haven't actually been sleeping at all. (my last edit before that was at 2 am). I was rather tired (and still am) and I lost concentration for a moment. I thought that a fresh start would help things, but I made the unfortunate mistake of failing to log off while editing as PerfectStorm. My only contributions as C-c-c-c have been because of HRE "supposed death", where I felt that I needed to tell Bormalagurski, and since then only the edits to your allegations that you thankfully dropped. It didn't seem like it was Hipi, but Ferick does look like a plausible candidate, and I wanted the other uses to know that. Anyways, my user is a good guy:). He's got about 800 edits, mostly minor, spelling fixes, reverting vandalism. I've decided not to really change any content in the articles for fear of disputes and such. I've even been thanked for giving a user the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:PerfectStorm#Thank_you_for_your_compliments.21 best compliment] he's ever gotten (changing his en-1 to en-2, because really his English was quite good and maybe deserved a en-3). I hope we can start of fresh, and I really hope Andrew Norman doesn't hear of this because even though I've been a valuable contributor, he will block me anyways. Here are my [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=PerfectStorm&offset=0&limit=2000 contributions], check them if you find a problem with any of them.

Triva: of my 751 edits to be exact, 750 have had edit summaries:) I was really mad when I forgot that one.

Attention:

This IP address, 24.66.94.140, is registered to Shaw Communications (an ISP in Canada) and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Shaw Communications (an ISP in Canada) to report abuse.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. However, you will still be unable to edit Wikipedia while the IP you are using is blocked.

This IP has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to vandalism. Further acts of vandalism from this IP may result in another immediate block without warning.

  6. Two of the articles you are editing, specifically Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, are regular targets of vandalism, especially the sales figures sections you keep changing. So that I don't have to continually revert your changes, would you mind please providing a source for your edits, as per WP:CITE? Thank you. Hall Monitor 23:06, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  7. This is my second request asking that you WP:CITE sources for your changes to the Christina Aguilera article, which you failed to do today during this edit. Exactly one line above your edits it clearly states: "Do not edit this list without citing your changes in the edit summary. Failure to do so will have your edit reverted in accordance with WP:CITE". Continued edits in this fashion may be construed as vandalism and result in the removal of your editing priveleges. If you need assistance or have questions on how to properly provide sources, please contact me directly on my talk page. Thanks! Hall Monitor 16:47, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  8. Regarding this edit, Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. Hall Monitor 22:21, 19 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  5. Not commenting on the messages immediately above, you've thrice removed a note from the 2005 French civil unrest article (or whatever they're calling it now) overview that noted that the rioters were largely Muslim, apparently on the grounds that there's no evidence that they're practicing muslims and Islam is a religion of peace. Well, aside from the fact that it's all over the media, there's the French news broadcast tape I found while removing anti-Islamic bias from the article that contains rioters shouting "allahu akbar!" on their merry way. More importantly: I think that Christianity, my religion, is a tool of peace, but that doesn't mean I can (or should want to) deny that the Crusades happened. --Kizor 08:29, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

==Please Use Edit Summaries==

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

  1. Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. I have no news about him and have what happened to him. My guess is that he planned a scheme that went wrong and now he is trying to find a way out. There is possibility that there really was an accident, but that scenario is beginning to look very unlikely.
Do you know anyone here who know his e-mail address? Did anyone tried to send him an email? There must be someone from Serb community here who know his name and email address. I would expect some of you guys to dig out some info on what really happened. --Ante Perkovic 23:13, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Regardless of quality of your edits (which I didn't bother to check)... someone using this IP signed as Cccc recently. See those 4 edits. Not that I care, but shouldn't you pause from editing wikipedia since your username is blocked?

?

[Hi,

Can you explain this? --Ante Perkovic 12:23, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've even been thanked for giving a user the best compliment he's ever gotten (changing his en-1 to en-2, because really his English was quite good and maybe deserved a en-3). I hope we can start of fresh, and I really hope Andrew Norman doesn't hear of this because even though I've been a valuable contributor, he will block me anyways. Here are my contributions, check them if you find a problem with any of them.

Triva: of my 751 edits to be exact, 750 have had edit summaries:) I was really mad when I forgot that one.
