== [[Les Paladins (musical company)]] ==

Hi Jim. This article was notified to WikiProject Opera and I was in the middle of rescuing it. Regardless of who started it, it is a notable ensemble. I'm going to re-create it as a referenced stub at [[Les Paladins (music ensemble)]]. Alas, I've lost all my formatting work on the previous stub. But never mind. A new reference tool

Hello Books & Bytes subscribers. There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. If you have a few minutes, please visit the testing page for simple instructions on how to try this new tool. Regards, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:47, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted page Radiona

Hi. I have just recreated page Radiona, removing content that was problematic. Please bare in mind that I, as probably any new user, am just learning to use wikipedia and syntax, so we might need more time to figure things out. I think your reaction might have been to quick. I was trying to fix the issues. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Izumitelj (talkcontribs) 15:48, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

G11

Hi Jim, could you restore Idea Cellular. It's listed under Template:Major Indian companies. User:Dkinred had also nominated iPhone, Microsoft Lumia and other popular articles for deletion under G11. NeilN reverted almost all of the speedy tags, but this seems to have slipped through. - NQ (talk) 08:59, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank youJimfbleak
I was in the process of courtesy blanking that userpage, when you deleted it. I was concerned at the identifying information on it, the Twitter, Facebook etc. Moot now! You saved me e-mailing Oversight. 220 of Borg 12:07, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to say "Dont be surprised if they recreate it", and they did! I have now directed them to an appropriate help page. And advised them not to recreate the page as it was. 220 of Borg 12:19, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request

Deity Music (talk · contribs) has requested an unblock. They seem to have covered both elements of the block sufficiently - a new name, and a pledge to refrain from any edits related to their COI. Any objections to removing the block? Kuru (talk) 13:16, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted page about Roman Zlotnikov

Hallo Jimfbleak!
You have removed the page about the Russian writer Roman Zlotnikov, but I can not understand why? One reason has been specified advertising, but no advertising was not there. Maybe you can help me with this page? Thanks! Ivanzlot (talk) 22:40, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page Deletion

Hello Jim, Can I save the article "Vasily romanenkov" on my sandbox, where I could add the necessary references and facts, so I could then post on Wikipedia? MedeaMargosvhili (talk)

Deleting a page for a hoax

Hey. Apparently you deleted a page relating to the upcoming WWE PPV on July 4th and the reason for it was because it was a blatant hoax, which is far from the truth. The PPV is happening on the WWE Network as seen here so no, it is not a blatant hoax. Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks. Scottyxander (talk) 02:05, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Page - Singtel CIS

Hi Jim,

You have deleted this page 'Singtel CIS (Corporate Individual Scheme)' because of unambiguous advertising. There is no advertising there as I have kept it very objective. The purpose of this article is to inform people what 'Singtel CIS' means as it is a widely used term in Singapore for employee mobile benefits in many organisations but there are many people who still ask in forums what the acronym means and write to my organisation 'Singtel' to ask about it as they have heard many people talking about this acronym. Pls help to restore the page and tell me what I should do to make it better for wikipedia standards. Thanks! Digimanst (talk) 09:47, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your comments. I would like to request the undeletion of this article. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it and I will remove any promotional tone and include independent verifiable sources. Thanks! Digimanst (talk) 02:00, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it. I've added references and removed promotional tone. Pls review and help to restore the page if possible? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Digimanst/sandbox. Thanks! Digimanst (talk) 10:03, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dream Bowl

You have deleted the page I created 'the dream bowl' because of unambiguous advertising. There is no advertising there as I have kept it very objective. The purpose of this article is to inform people what 'The Dream Bowl' is. The national bowl which is very similar to the dream bowl has a page so what is the difference? Pls help to restore the page and tell me what I should do to make it better for wikipedia standards. Thanks Marisa Mammaturo (talk) 14:18, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Eryc Taylor

Hello,

You have recently deleted Eryc Taylor from Wikipidia. I am a Grad Student who has recently seen some of his works, and would like to make a WIKI page for him. However, When i tried to make a page for Eryc Taylor Dance Inc., it was deleted for plagerism and promoting his brand? I felt like it was a very objective take on his work, and I recieve permission from Eryc himself to use his website BIO information. What do i need to provide in order for the wiki page "Eryc Taylor" to be in compliance with WIKI rules?

DS at Kombucha

The following article needs your attention. My edits are reverted each time I try to correct policy violations because of noncompliant material. I no sooner made the edit that it was immediately reverted. The onus of restoring noncompliant material is on the editor who wants it restored. That is not what is happening. See [1]. Consider watching Kombucha?

Hi there Jim,

The reverts are continuing at Kombucha, making normal editing impossible. There is also some game playing going on; even after asking not to be templated anymore (I am not a new user) I received an "edit war" notice today after 1 revert of an edit that has no basis in the guidelines. This is a change to a well-sourced addition I made last night. If you are able to just look in to ensure guidelines are being followed and no games are being played, that would be most appreciated. Pending that, what would you suggest? petrarchan47คุ 20:44, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:Petrarchan47, it looks as if another admin has protected the article. Never an ideal solution, since one side is bound to feel aggrieved, but at least it stops the warring and might give some time for discussion Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:30, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Most kind of you to respond. I think this is more of a behavioural issue, though, which needs an objective observer. There are long time users completely misrepresenting the guidelines and being vindictive with edit warring templates, as well as tag teaming. Regardless of the state of the article, this behaviour isn't going to change until it is addressed. If you have any suggestions regarding that, I'm all ears. Gratefully, petrarchan47คุ 06:16, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

HEY!

Stop deleting my Looney Tunes VHS/Laserdisc articles! They deserved to be noticed! Copyright or not! Just leave them alone! And if you don't listen to reason, I'll just keep re-adding them! --LooneyTunerIan (talk) 01:52, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion: Elisabeth Pawelke

Jim -- You apparently deleted the page for Elisabeth Pawelke. Your deletion reason seems to question whether she is a real person. This is definitely a real person, a very good singer, and she deserves a link on Wikipedia (IMO). You can confirm her existence by looking at the Wikipedia article for Faun, as she is a past member of this German Pagan Folk band -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faun_%28band%29 -- and she is still an active performer -- see her Facebook page for quick reference ( https://de-de.facebook.com/pages/Elisabeth-Pawelke/249088435112908 ). Please restore Elizabeth's page. Thanks. MBG M B Garrett (talk) 03:19, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jim,

Can I ask the reasons for deleting Draft:Franchising in Asia.

There is no copyright issue as we donated the material and this was confirmed by wiki permisssions on my talk page and a note to administrators above the article to that effect.

In terms of promotion or advertising-if you would be so kind as to inform me where this is, as I can not find it.Dabhanddaz (talk) 07:21, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of CIVA Charter School

Hi. I noticed that you deleted CIVA Charter School. There had been a previous version of the page that did not contain excessive advertising, and the page could have been reverted to eliminate all spam. As a result, I disagree that it should have been speedily deleted. I believe this extends beyond WP:SNOW because high schools are generally found to be notable (as per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES). Could you take another look at the page and let me know your thoughts on this? Thanks! ~ RobTalk 07:22, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that the page was restored. Thanks for being willing to take a second look! ~ RobTalk 08:47, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Rob, I should have checked the history more carefully. I've restored the clean version of 06:11, 22 June 2015, as you noticed (edit conflict). I note that the TomStar81 who nominated for SD correctly indeffed User:CIVACharter, who added the junk, under our spamusername policy. What's a charter schoool? Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:52, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Charter schools are schools that receive public funding but are not administered by a governmental system. In other words, they're alternatives to public schools that still receive taxpayer funding in some form (either through flat amounts or on a voucher system related to number of students). They're one of the "hot topics" in education because they provide more competition for public schools. Some view this positively as a way to push schools to perform better, but others view this as a splitting of resources that will leave students who are unable to get into a charter school without a high quality traditional public school to attend (due to allocating funding elsewhere). ~ RobTalk 08:56, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, Rob, thanks. Perhaps needs an article?
It appears to have one here, but it seems that no-one has added a controversy section. I might add that to my to-do list, although I haven't been in touch with the latest in education reform for a few years, so it would be a research-heavy exercise on my part. ~ RobTalk 09:02, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Page [Hindva Builders]

Sanganianu43 (talk) 07:46, 22 June 2015 (UTC) Hello Sir, I want to Rewrite My article about Hindva Builder, so Please give permission for the same, i have best source for that.Sanganianu43 (talk) 07:46, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sanganianu43, please see this and this. It's been deleted eight times. I think you need to produce a draft here so we can see what you have in mind before the article is unlocked. You will need to
  • provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines.
  • write in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Note that the article has been deleted many times as spam
  • write in your own words, do copy from a web page. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
You appear to have a conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your company is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:06, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
