Reception
Amol's character of Chitvan has earned positive reviews by critics. The Quint's review states "Being the youngest sibling and the witty/humourous one, he is a delight to see on the screen. But in season 2, we see a new side of him. The transformation of Chitvan’s character is probably the best thing about Tripling 2." The News Minute says "Amol Parashar is an absolute delight as the unpredictable but inadvertently deep Chitvan." Arushi Jain of The Indian Express writes "Amol Parashar has played the character with such perfection, that, for me, he will always be etched in my heart as Chitvan, irrespective of how many web-shows he does."
Amol's performances in his films have also been appreciated by critics. For his performance in Traffic, Joginder Tuteja writes "Of the younger lot, Amol Parashar makes a mark". Hindustan Times said "The cast – Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta, Jimmy Sheirgill, Parambrata Chatterjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Amol Parashar, Sachin Khedekar, Kittu Gidwani and Vikram Gokhale – has delivered a stellar performance." . Khalid Mohamed wrote "Of the ensemble cast, Sheirgill, Dutta, Khedekar, Gidwani and newcomer Amol Parashar, are uniformly inspired, performing their parts with psychological acuity."
Amol's performance in Babloo Happy Hai was also appreciated by the critics. The Times of India said "Amol Parashar looks promising".[4] The Sunday Indian said "Amol Parashar stands out".[5] Boxofficeindia.com said "Amol Parashar brings out the sensitivity in his character and plays his part with doggedness".[6]
