Complaint about you on my talk
Hello EuroHorrorGuy. Your name has been mentioned at User talk:EdJohnston#Blocked IP 68.129.15.71 seems to be back as user EuroHorrorGuy. It would help if you can say whether you have edited in the past with IPs or other accounts. If you were, in fact, blocked as an IP in July, 2020 then we could discuss whether that block could be appealed. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 14:04, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
:If you continue to dodge the question whether you are also editing as an IP, an admin may decide to block your account. Just tell us what is really going on. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 22:49, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
I don't know what editing with an IP means. I don't think I filed for that. I just have a regular account.EuroHorrorGuy (talk) 16:51, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
There's nothing going on, I think you have me confused with another account. I deleted some stuff from my talk page because the names of the people who were posting things on my page looked like fake accounts because they had no editing histories, so I thought they were fake accounts trying to scam me in some way. SorryEuroHorrorGuy (talk) 17:17, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

Trilby (disambiguation)

Please note that disambiguation pages like Trilby (disambiguation) are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

 • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
 • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
 • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
 • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
 • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
 • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory
 • Do not add articles to acronym or initials disambiguation pages unless the person or entity is widely known by that name (in which case it should be stated in the linked article).

Thank you. Leschnei (talk) 00:06, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

1910 in film

Hi. Do the dates in your book you are using as a citation specifically stating that was the year then film was released? Or do they just say the film followed by the year? I'd like some clarification. Andrzejbanas (talk) 08:52, 7 August 2020 (UTC) Yes, it says the films are listed alphabetically "within each release year".EuroHorrorGuy (talk) 19:31, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1911 in film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George Nichols.

ok I fixed it. Thanks.EuroHorrorGuy (talk) 14:46, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Sources now say Chaney is not in the film

Why not remove it from the page then? Andrzejbanas (talk) 23:12, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I removed it. The Blake book seems to be more up to date than other sources.EuroHorrorGuy (talk) 16:55, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add NoACEMM to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
