{{unblock|1=I am writing to appeal my previous block on Wikipedia. After reviewing my previous appeal, I have come to understand my mistakes and would like to clarify some points. In my previous editing, I cited sources that were biased and promotional, which I now understand goes against Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. I mistakenly believed that a primary source (information coming directly from the music label) would be impartial, but I have since realized that this is not always the case. To address this issue, I have diversified my sources and will continue to do so in the future. I would also like to clarify that I am not involved in promotional or paid editing. I am independent and edit Wikipedia purely out of personal interest, previously for local Swedish singers and songwriters; especially in the K-pop industry. However, I acknowledge that my editing should be done more carefully and meticulously (and I am grateful for the extent of which the Wikipedia community strives to ensure neutrality!). Regarding my inappropriate post of the "Julie Yu" page, I apologize for any confusion or misinformation that may have been caused. I accidentally uploaded a draft of my Wikipedia page as the live page, instead of working on it in a sandbox environment. My intention was to translate an already existing Swedish Wikipedia page into English and add her recent credits of voice acting for Netflix TV series. I did not intend to promote or spread misinformation. Moving forward, I am committed to being more careful and neutral in my editing, with the provided Wikipedia guidelines near at hand. I am also interested in writing about new topics such as computer science and green coding, and I will approach these topics with the same level of care and neutrality. Julie Yu moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Julie Yu, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Julie Yu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

I came on the Wikipedia Encyclopedia to explore and experience contributing. I chose to explore Swedish k-pop producers as my topic for research and created "Alex Karlsson" (A multi-plat producer with his own work), and later, the page where I made my mistakes: "Julie Yu" (A local celebrity and multi-plat producer who has starred on Swedish National Television). When working on Julie Yu's page, my intention was specific to translating her Swedish Wikipedia page, https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julie_Yu, to English. However, a key mistake was that I published the page at a drafting stage, before completion (a mistake I have also done in the "Alex Karlsson" page in smaller degrees of error, which luckily have been resolved), hence the lack of sourcing. I have now learnt that a Wikipedia editor must utilize the "Sandbox" environment for drafting pages, and only publish when deemed to satisfy many of Wikipedia's guidelines, such as providing evidence on notability, sourcing, etc.. My to-do list on Wikipedia, at this stage, is to work on finishing up Alex Karlsson's page, including diversifying sources to unbiased ones (Ekko music rights --> Discogs), adding his hits and singles (based on charts such as the billboard100), background (based on reputable interviews). With that said, I acknowledge my mistakes, have a plan to move forward, and know how to avoid such mistakes in the future. And of course, I will be more careful and sensitive. -Whyumi Whyumi (talk) 08:21, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

What you describe is not the issue here(and also reflects some misunderstandings). You don;t address your promotional editing, undisclosed paid editing, or creation of other inappropriate pages. 331dot (talk) 15:18, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
