American rapper and singer Doja Cat has released four studio albums, one extended play (EP), 44 singles (including 17 as a featured artist), 33 music videos, and nine promotional singles. According to Recording Industry Association of America, Doja Cat has sold 34 million certified albums and singles in the United States as a lead artist.[1]
Doja Cat self-released her debut single, "So High", in 2014 before releasing her debut EP, Purrr!, later that year. Her debut studio album, Amala, was released on March 30, 2018. Following the viral success of the song "Mooo!" in August 2018, the songs "Candy", "Tia Tamera", and "Juicy" became sleeper hits, prompting Doja Cat to release the Amala deluxe edition on March 1, 2019. Capitalizing on her growing popularity, her second studio album, Hot Pink, was released on November 4, 2019, and ultimately charted in the top ten on the US Billboard 200 as well as the top 20 of countries such as Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands and New Zealand. Hot Pink spawned the breakthrough single "Say So", whose remix featuring Nicki Minaj became Doja Cat's first number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, and "Streets", her first top-ten single on the Billboard Global 200.
Doja Cat's third studio album, Planet Her, was released on June 25, 2021, peaking at number one in New Zealand and the top ten in thirteen countries including the United States. It was a huge commercial success, becoming the biggest R&B album of the year in the US and the tenth best-selling album of the year worldwide. It spawned the top ten singles "Kiss Me More" featuring SZA, "Need to Know", and "Woman". Doja Cat released her fourth studio album, Scarlet, on September 22, 2023, which peaked within the top ten in Australia, Canada, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States. Its lead single "Paint the Town Red" became Doja Cat's most successful song to date, marking her first solo number-one on the Billboard Hot 100, the Global 200, and the UK Singles Chart among seven other countries, while the single "Agora Hills" also entered the top ten in the US.

The "Say So" singer had lent her vocals to one of his singles before the split, a lovesick bop called "Anything You Want." "She did the backing harmonies that sound really awesome at the end of the song," he says. The track ultimately didn't make the final cut of For Abby, but bitterness over their breakup had nothing to do with it. "I have massive respect for her, and I believe she does for me ... When we split, we were like, 'I don't think this feature makes sense ... because we're not dating anymore.'"
