After previous speculation that ''Big Brother 2007'' would be broadcast from a new location in [[Hammersmith]], it was confirmed that the series would still be broadcast in [[Elstree]]. Pictures of the big brother 8 house were leaked to The Daily Mirror on May 14th, they showed that the house is blue. However the house was uncomplete so these walls may still need to be painted or covered up by other means.{{fact}}

Take with buckets of salt, it’s extremely likely to be a load of old rubbish.

So, this is the first one. Presumably it’s the “opening titles” shot, it was named 2007screenshot.png. In the background words say ‘EVERYONE IS A TARGET. THIS IS NOT A HOLIDAY.’ - Sounds a bit harsh, but not exactly fitting with the reported ‘family friendly’ BB8 we’ve all been hearing about.

The logo was first advertised on television on [[May 16]], 14 days before the launch night. The eye has generally become un-popular with fans, some Big Brother fansites have been swarmed with comments with mixed views on the eye{{fact}}. Template:Future Big Brother 2007 is the upcoming eighth series of the United Kingdom reality television series Big Brother. The series will air on Channel 4, beginning in May 2007.[1]

The first round of auditions started on 6 January 2007[2] at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow where there was a queue of only three hundred people,[3] and finished on 11 February 2007.[4] Auditions were also held at Cardiff, Newcastle upon Tyne, Birmingham, Dublin, Manchester, and London.[5] The eighth series of Big Brother will also involve the first online application for housemates where 100 applicants will be chosen for audition in person.[4]

On 8 March 2007, it was announced that the Carphone Warehouse would not return to sponsor Big Brother 2007,[6] and on 21 March, that Virgin Media, would sponsor the show, for a reported GB£3 million.[7]

Broadcasts
