Template:Big Brother endgame Big Brother 3 was the third series of Big Brother UK. The series started on 24 May 2002, and ended on 26 July 2002. The final of this series drew 7.1 million viewers.[1] Votes in the final week totalled 8.6 million[2]

The third series saw two early walkouts, by housemates Sunita and Sandy. For a period the house was split in two, creating 'rich' and 'poor' houses[citation needed]. Those on one side had more luxuries and better food than those on the other. A weekly task, shown live on Saturday nights, determined which housemates lived on which side of the divide.
