Manager John McLaren was fired on June 20 after a poor start to the season, to be replaced by Jim Riggleman. McLaren left with a 25-47 (.350) record for the season, and 68-88 (.435) total during his time at the Mariners. Riggleman's managerial record at the Mariners currently stands at 10-5 (.667).
