The 59th National Film Awards presented by Directorate of Film Festivals, the organization set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India to felicitate the best of Indian Cinema released in the year 2011.[1][2] The awards were announced on March 7, 2012; the presentation ceremony will be held on May 3, 2012.
