Levenshulme railway station (previously Levenshulme North) serves the Levenshulme area of the city of Manchester, England. The station is 5 km (3.1 mi) south east of Manchester Piccadilly towards Stockport.

Four railway tracks go through the station with the middle tracks used by fast trains and the outer tracks mainly used by trains that are stopping.

The signage at the station spells out Levenshulme in Arabic, Gaelic and Sign language as well as English.

Service

Four trains per hour go from Levenshulme towards Manchester Piccadilly northbound. Southbound trains go beyond Stockport towards Alderley Edge, Hazel Grove, Crewe and Buxton.

The service pattern is as follows:

  • 1tph to Alderley Edge
  • 1tph to Crewe
  • 4tph to Manchester Piccadilly
  • 2tph to Hazel Grove
  • 1tph to Buxton

Evenings and Sundays see two trains each hour to Manchester and every hour to Buxton and Alderley Edge/Crewe.
