(1991 film)

Walang Hanggan (English: Eternal) is a Philippine traditional television drama aired by ABS-CBN and worldwide on The Filipino Channel featuring an ensemble cast.[1][2] The series is loosely based on the 1991 Gomez-Zulueta film Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit,[3] a film based on the Emily Brontë novel, Wuthering Heights.

Synopsis

Walang Hanggan features the undying love that revolves around characters from three different generations: the love triangle among Henia (Susan Roces), Margaret (Helen Gamboa), and Joseph (Eddie Gutierrez); the ill-fated lovers Marco (Richard Gomez) and Emily (Dawn Zulueta); and young sweethearts Daniel (Coco Martin) and Katerina (Julia Montes).

Merchandise

ABS-CBN took advantage of the show's popularity to partner with local jeweler Karat World to produce an "infinity ring," a special ring shaped like intertwined infinity loops. The rings are available in 14-karat solid yellow gold, 14-karat solid white gold, and silver 925. Each ring also has an “infinity marking” and a 585-stamping “to signify its gold purity."[40]
