Dr. Cat at Anthrocon 2009 (full)

Dr. Cat (born David Shapiro[1]) is president, co-founder, executive producer and creative director of Dragon's Eye Productions.[2] He is best known for creating the 2003 Independent Games Festival finalist[3] MMORPG Furcadia with game artist Talzhemir. In the game Furcadia his character goes by the name "Felorin".[4]

He has worked (in various capacities) for Origin and Microprose, among others.[1] Notable titles he has significantly contributed to include the Ultima series.[1]

Dr. Cat currently works at Lolapps, Inc., where he became one of designers for the game Ravenwood Fair on February 25, 2011.[5]

He worked with 'Manda Dee and Jeff Dee to create DragonSpires, which was released in 1994. [6]
