Fashion One is a 24/7 globally broadcasted television network entirely dedicated to lifestyle, travel, entertainment, film and fashion.[1] It was founded in Los Angeles in 2010 by Michael Gleissner. Fashion One is the only fashion network that produces programs in crystal clear High Definition with 24/7 international broadcasts among multiple platforms such as direct-to-home satellite television, cable television, and new media like IPTV and the World Wide Web.

Fashion One has presence in major fashion capitals in the world such as Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Paris, and Milan, with production offices and facilities in Hong Kong, Belgium, Singapore, United States, and Philippines. Fashion One continues to deliver glamour, beauty, style and luxury through it’s fashion channel, Fashion One reaching to millions of audiences across US, Europe and Asia that promised to provide over 300 new shows and 600 new clips for every season. Fashion One also provides original programming in the Middle East and North Africa with YahLive[2] through Fashion One HD.

Fashion One is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bigfoot Entertainment[3], an international entertainment company founded on 2004 that produces independent films, documentaries, reality tv shows for the global market. Its projects and shows are created at Bigfoot Studios, a co-subsidiary company, headquartered in Miami Beach with studios in Cebu, Philippines.

Fashion One programming

Fashion One continues to showcase everything from catwalks, international fashion weeks, Hollywood scoops and gossips, to fashion tips through its exciting array of original programming such as Fashion Weeks, Backstage, Fashion Documentary, Events, Celeb on File, and Travel in Style. Today, Fashion One boasts over 20 program segments bringing all aspects of fashion and entertainment round the clock including original programming such as Front Row, The Fashion Frontline, Blue Lagoon and Screen Test.

The Search is a reality-based competition series that aims to find the next Fashion One correspondent for each major fashion capitals of the world. The show develops and tests the reporting and hosting skills of the hopefuls and put them to workshops to further enhance and challenge their personality, confidence and style to see if they have what it takes to be the next Fashion One correspondent. Design Genius

Hosted by the fashion designer and reality star, Indashio, this fashion-packed competition series aims to crown the most creative and innovation fashion designer. Using unconventional and unimaginable materials, the 3 hopefuls need to create the most inventive, and creative accessory, undergarment, and wardrobe for a chance to win $25,000 and crown to be the next Design Genius.[5]

Eco- Fashion

This eco-friendly docu-series brings designers from all over the world to show creativity in fashion design by using indigenous and environmentally sustainable materials.[6] Designers from South Africa, Philippines, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Germany and U.S get together to create the most innovative and creative design using scraps, dirt, handmade beads and fabrics, discarded upholstery and unused products. “This series is not just about the brand or the product; it’s about the people and the visionaries that created them.” says Ashley Jordan, Fashion One CEO.

From Corsets to Catwalk

Anchored by one of London’s well-known presenters, Henrietta Moore, Fashion Frontline is another original programming of Fashion One giving the viewers the latest and most relevant news in the fashion industry. Kick Up Your Heels

Fashion One brings you a new workout trend that lets you get physical in your high heels and stilettos.[9] This three set, six episode workout series features different fitness trend such as street dance, zumba-esque workout and kickboxing. Kick Up Your Heels will be shown every Wednesday at 9:00am and 9:00pm (UK and South Africa) and 10:00am and 10:30pm (GMT+8 Asia/ GMT+2 Europe and Africa) for the rest of the world.

Underwater Action

Fashion One Recently

To date, Fashion One has expanded its reach to viewers in Africa with the launch of Fashion One Africa feed on TopTV, a satellite TV network provider in South Africa. With the new feed, Fashion One will showcase most of the African talents and designs by covering African fashion events and fashion weeks, on top of its original programming and continuous delivery of latest in fashion and entertainment. The daily new feed will be available on TopTV channel 179.[80]

Fashion One also launched its collaboration in Asia with Toggle, MediaCorp’s personal entertainment service in Singapore. Now, the international channel for fashion, entertainment and style will be available on multiple devices that can cater millions of online female audiences. Fashion One will debut with Eco Fashion Season 2 and Kick Up Your Heels.[81]

Fashion One will be broadcasting live from the Fashion Week Russia as it has been appointed to be the International TV Partner of the 7th Season of Aurora Fashion Week Russia. Fashion One will showcase many established names in fashion and new and upcoming designers, brands and models in the fashion week.[82]

Fashion One Foundation

Raising awareness of poverty, human trafficking, charity aid, education and environmental issues are the main goals of Fashion One Foundation. This non-profit organization aims to raise funds and build awareness for the said goals. It’s partners, Fashion Hope, Bigfoot Entertainment, Fashion One Network, Traffic Jam and MTV EXIT collaborate to further raise awareness towards human trafficking and create contents about human and environmental issues. Fashion One Foundation and Fashion Hope has started their support for the ‘Human Trafficking Awareness Day’ by sponsoring Bigfoot Entertainment’s feature film, The Girl with No Number.[83]
