Winterbourne Down is a village in South Gloucestershire, and part of the Civil Parish of Winterbourne.Bristol and Bath (OS Explorer Map Series): Keynsham & Marshfield The Parish's annual May Day carnival is held here.

With spectacular views of Winterbourne Viaduct and areas of natural beauty, the Frome Valley Walkway passes through the village.

There are two churches which are opposite each other across Down Road: All Saints (Church of England) and Bethesda (Methodist).
