"Loving You"
Song

"Loving You" is a song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. Originally recorded during the Bad sessions in 1985-1987, but is not included in the Bad 25 re-issue album. Matt Forger, one of Jackson's trusted engineers stated that, “It was a good song, just not in serious consideration for the BAD album. One of many that were recorded and put away.”[2] A reworked version of the song was included in Jackson's posthumous album Xscape.

Release

The song was released on May 6, 2014 on Sony Entertainment Network as a promotional single for promoting Xscape.[3]“Loving You” is a playful summer ballad about Michael having a nice stay-at-home retreat from the outside world with his lover. The song is very reminiscent of the Motown era, with a soulful melody and a pleasant bass line.[4] the song was chosen to be the second single in in the United Kingdom.[5]
