I always hated that saying "Judge not, lest ye be judged". Is that supposed to mean that its A-OK to do anything like molest kids and throw Grandma in to the Grand Cannon? I judge plenty. If something is wrong, I am not afraid to say so. For the record, I shack up myself. Go ahead and judge me. I don't care what the Hell you think!!! --[[Special:Contributions/68.118.188.188|68.118.188.188]] ([[User talk:68.118.188.188|talk]]) 22:45, 10 January 2015 (UTC)

john corbett voice

is he doing the voice on the applebees commercials —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.4.120.111 (talk) 17:28, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have suspect for years that he does voiceovers for a lot of things. I hear his distinctive voice all the time for this or that. Its nice to confirm that I was correct. --68.118.188.188 (talk) 22:42, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

– The page view numbers say it all:

  • Actor: 32,658
  • Industrialist: 200
  • Cricketer: 48
  • Writer: 236
  • Royal Navy officer: 29
  • Chemist: 41

The other names on the dab page do not exactly match "John Corbett".

With these page view statistics in mind, I think it's clear that the actor is by far the most popular search for "John Corbett" on Wikipedia. He is a pretty clear-cut WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 20:36, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Question: What about non-exact string matches and long-term significance? WP:DAB is about candidate topics, not exact string matches for article title names, and the presence of an additional name or middle initial in a page name doesn't mean the person isn't known as "John Corbett". Long-term significance should also cause some topics to carry more weight than their page view statistics would seem to indicate. —BarrelProof (talk) 22:42, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I've become even more suspicious of page view statistics after learning that views through redirects are not counted. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:57, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
How would counting redirect views change the equation here? Dohn joe (talk) 01:45, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know; I haven't checked. As far as I know, no one else has either. —BarrelProof (talk) 03:00, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
