Belize competed at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, United Kingdom from 27 July – 12 August 2012. This nation marked its eleventh appearance at the Olympic Games, although it had previously competed in two other games under the name "British Honduras" (1968 in Mexico City, and 1972 in Munich).
Three athletes were selected to the team, competing only in athletics and judo, its Olympic debut in London. Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association appointed track hurdler Kenneth Medwood to carry the nation's flag at the opening ceremony. Medwood and sprinter Kaina Martinez, who were both selected under Universality places, also became the second and third Belizean athlete to advance past the first round at any Olympic event in London. Belize, however, has yet to win its first Olympic medal.
