I don't think it did, I believe it's just an internal movement inside the party. Could you provide any sources for the name change? Saturnalia0 (talk) 22:04, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

The current article badly needs to be NPOV-ed. It seems from the previous version that the party was founded under a name that has now been completely removed from the article. Not good. Andrewa (talk) 19:07, 22 October 2017 (UTC)

• Support. It's incorrect, it's not a reliable source, it's misinformation. That's why it should be moved. I gave up reverting it, I asked for page protection and it was ignored, so it should be moved. People want misinformation in here, let them have it. I am unwatching this article. • Oppose: Livres is not a new party, it's a group within PSL. Superior Electoral Court names the party as Partido Social Liberal (in Portuguese) Comuna de Paris (talk) 00:00, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

• Disagree: But the group become the party itself. The party's Facebook page uses Livres name. And the Brazilian judiciary system is very slow.

Livres is just a group, not a party. In Portuguese, Livres identifies itself as liberal and libertarian group[inside the party] (tendência liberal e libertária). There is no reason to rename it. Comuna de Paris (talk) 13:55, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

• Oppose. More likely this is some trend or new marketing some are trying to promote. https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partido_Social_Liberal says no such thing. Reference 5 says no such thing. Facebook is not worth looking at for any Wikipedia purpose. Livres is a nickname. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:04, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
