Career
She started her career at the age of 12 as a child actor in the film Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya,[11] and then appeared as a child actor in the Indian film Kuch Naa Kaho at the age of 14.[12] Later, as an adult, she went on to work in various Indian TV shows.[12][13][14]
She won the Indian Television Academy Awards for Best Actress Critics for her role in Saraswatichandra.[15] Winget worked in Sony TV's romantic thriller Beyhadh where she played the negative role of Maya Mehrotra.[16][17] Winget is currently working in Colors TV's Bepannaah as Zoya Siddiqui.[8][9]
Personal life
Winget is the daughter of a Punjabi mother and a Maharashtrian Christian father, and is often mistaken for a Westerner due to her western first name.[11] Winget married Karan Singh Grover on 9 April 2012.[18][19] In November 2014, Winget stated that she and Grover had separated.[4][20]
In the media
UK-based newspaper Eastern Eye placed her in their 50 Sexiest Asian Women list in 2012.[21] In 2013, she was listed in this list by Eastern Eye yet again, this time at the fifteenth position.[22] Winget was also included in the Television's Top 10 Actresses list by Rediff.[23] She was then listed among the 35 Hottest Actresses in Indian Television by Mens XP.[24] In 2018, she was ranked first in Times of India's Top 20 Most Desirable Women on Indian Television list.[25]
