Stefan Molyneux

Hello welcome to Wikipedia. I've undone your recent edits to the Stefan Molyneux article, because they inserted text which is not adequately sourced to a WP:RS reference and contained some interpretation rather than factual statements from cited sources. You may share any concerns on the article talk page, and try to achieve consensus for your version, but please do not reinsert it prior to such consensus. There are many policies and guidelines pages which another user has posted above. You may find these useful as you gain experience editing. Thanks. SPECIFICO talk 22:48, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

April 2017

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Ben Garrison. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your deletion of sourced material at Solutrean hypothesis

When discussing something about subjects such as archaeology or genetics, the views of experts in the field are relevant and you shouldn't be deleting them. Our articles are built upon what are considered to be reliable sources by our criteria, and your dislike of the comment of a reliable source is not a good reason to delete it. Doug Weller talk 18:16, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page

Would you consider toning down your user page? Passages like "Large n----- horde" and the overall tone of the page comes across as quite racist and divisive. TheValeyard (talk) 14:41, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Blight55. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018

Hi. As per previous/similar notes from other editors, please do not add uncited personal opinions or unsupported commentary to Wikipedia articles. These type of additions, in particular where WP:BLPSOURCE is a concern, are contrary to project policy. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 19:07, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have moved your new article here because it does not yet meet the criteria for inclusion, viz.

  1. It makes no claim of notability for the subject
  2. References are inadequate
  3. It has not been added to any categories

Please work on it in draft space before submitting for review. Deb (talk) 12:22, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Chill out dude.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I saw your edit summary concerning the "color photo" of Bobby Fischer, as well as your "refutation" of my previous incorrect (albeit purely bona fide) edit. Please don't be rude to other Wikipedia users, especially if they are simply making good faith edits. Have a nice day! 68.5.231.50 (talk) 05:32, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 17

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thomas Butler, 10th Earl of Ormond, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maurice FitzThomas FitzGerald (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
