Discrepancy

The 365gay article says homosexual acts are punishable by two years in prison, but the BBC News article only says one year. Aleta (Sing) 16:07, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would trust the BBC over many other sites.--Paschal Lehany (talk) 21:06, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Change in topic name

Based on the language of the new constitution the topic of the page should be changed to "LGBTI" Rights in Nepal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Juliadhikari (talkcontribs) 05:28, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected links on LGBT rights in Nepal which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Triggered by \bchange\.org\b on the local blacklist

If you would like me to provide more information on the talk page, contact User:Cyberpower678 and ask him to program me with more info.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on LGBT rights in Nepal. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Potential Revisions

For citation #10 I think it would be helpful to specify the page number if it's possible that way the citation is easy to see. A citation may be needed for the end of the Education section. Other than that, great read and nice article ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alejmota (talkcontribs) 09:03, 6 May 2016‎

Hello. I noticed your contribution, just above, and thought of several tips to give you.
  1. Always sign your contributions to a discussion. You can do this by placing four tildes (~~~~) at the end, and the software will convert it to a signature when you save your edit. See WP:Signatures. (I've added your signature for you, using the {{unsigned}} template.)
  2. Be sure you add a new section to a talk page at the bottom of the talk page. I've moved yours, which you had placed above the "sources checked" message, making it appear that that message had been contributed by and that your comments had been posted here on 22 January 2016.
  3. When referring to a footnote, identify it by the source and title rather than by the sequential number. You referred to "citation #10", but by the time someone else reads your comment, the article might have been revised so that that citation is no longer the tenth one, leading to confusion. It looks like you were referring to the UNDP, USAID paper, "Being LGBT in Asia: Nepal Country Report".

Requested move 19 August 2016

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Move. We have unanimous consensus to go with the more consistent title. Cúchullain t/c 13:46, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

LGBTI rights in NepalLGBT rights in Nepal – This page was moved to LGBTI rights in Nepal, breaking consistency with similar titles, allegedly because the Nepali constitution now extends to intersex persons. This seems to me to suggest that other countries do not give their intersex citizens equal rights, and that Nepal is unique in this regard. I'm requesting this move because the previous one was done seemingly without a consensus. MediaKill13 (talk) 12:37, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Terminology

User: EkniBhattaKhas, User:Panda2018 0 is right to remove the terminology section. See WP:NOTDICTIONARY. This is akin to listing the names the parts of a car in German under the article for Volkswagen. Also, it's off-topic for an article specifically about rights. References removed

Hi, I removed some content from the first paragraph and while doing that also removed a reference attached to it. Hope that is allowed. If not, you can put it back. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by MySock1 (talkcontribs) 16:52, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
