Drive is an 2019 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar.[1] Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi, the story of the film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous 'King' for a robbery of 300 Kilograms of gold. An undercover agent infiltrates a street racing gang who is chasing the King.[2][3][4][5] The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018, but was pushed to 28 June 2019, now it was streamed on Netflix from 1 November 2019.[6][7].

Cast

Production

In October 2017, The New Indian Express reported that a party song for the film was being shot in Tel Aviv, Israel.[8][9] Karan Johar did not like the way the end product had shaped up, so it was delayed.[10]

Marketing and release

The Dharma Production has released a 23 seconds teaser on 3 January 2019, announcing advanced date of release as 28 June 2019.[11]

The official trailer of the film was unveiled by Netflix on 18 October 2019.[12]

The film was streamed from 1 November 2019 on Netflix as Video on demand.[13][14] The film is the first original film from Dharma Productions to release on Netflix.[15]
