Brian Wall → Brian Wohl – The original move from Brian Wohl to Brian Wall may have been vandalism - the "multiple sources" mentioned as supporting the move are not found. A Google search (using operator allintext:) combining "Julio Dinero" with "Brian Wall" produced 53 results, most of which are either plagiarisms of this Wikipedia article or articles that note his name is often mistakenly spelt Wall. A similar search with "Brian Wohl" replacing "Brian Wall" produced 751 results. Given that almost every original source gives Wohl as the spelling, that Wall is a phonetic misspelling, and that one of the two original newspaper articles cited as supporting the Wall spelling is from a source (slam.canoe.ca) often guilty of misspelling any uncommon name, moving the page back to Wohl is justified. Move instead to Julio Dinero. A News Archive search provides additional evidence in support of Wohl over Wall but Julio Dinero is orders of magnitude more common. We even used "Hulk Hogan (not Terry Gene Bollea)" as an example at WP:AT for ages (it was removed just days ago as the examples were reconstructed under the aegis of being "over-Americanized").--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 05:23, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Correct spelling of his real name - Brian Wall or Brian Wohl?

Rather than indulging in edit wars, I will make a discussion here. I believe the correct spelling of this person's name is "Brian Wall" (not "Brian Wohl") which is sourced from 4 references:

1. An interview he personally conducted with SLAM! Sports, link here: http://www.canoe.ca/SlamWrestlingBiosD/dinero_00dec-can.html

2. An appearance he made in WCW under his real name (WCW Saturday Night, August 5th 1995), screenshot here: http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/7499/wallvp.jpg

3. An article from a newspaper in his home state, which mentions him and his real name, link here - http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/articles/28503/the-tights-stuff

4. A profile page by respected wrestling journalist Steve Gerweck, link here - http://www.gerweck.net/2009/10/23/julio-dinero

I believe all these references are very reliable. While there are many internet hits on Google saying "Brian Wohl", most of these pages are sourced from from large "database" wrestling websites such as Online World Of Wrestling, Cagematch.de, Internet Wrestling Database, etc. which, while useful in many respects, do contain a lot of inaccurate information and are compiled from multiple unspecified (and therefore unverifiable) sources. I believe the 4 sources stated above are reliable evidence that "Brian Wall" is the correct spelling. Wf.the.assassin.wf (talk) 16:32, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have created an article on Brian Wall, an American sculptor, and changed the redirect page, Brian Wall, which redirected to this page, to point to Brian Wall (artist), since the redirect was just for a misspelling of Brian Wohl's name.
