Lesbian relationship with Yukio?

Was this ever actually stated in the comics? I've been reading the comics for years, and this is the first I've heard of this as anything but fan speculation. Given his statements about the Destiny/Mystique relationship, I can believe that Claremont intended this too, but is there any real evidence? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.255.29.99 (talk) 16:20, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there was visual confirmation of it in the Black Panther title during the period she was married to T'Challa where the art depicts all of previous romances/sexual partners and Yukio is one of the people featured. You'd need someone who's actually read the comic to verify it though. Misterandersen (talk) 02:06, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Someone keeps adding it, despite any clear comment about it ever being made. It can only be put there if it is stated overtly or if Claremont or someone else makes an official comment on it. Until then it's just OR/Spec and repeated addings should be considered vandalism. Thanks for pointing it out.Luminum (talk) 18:00, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For future reference, this interview with Claremont points out that he never thought about/had plans for Yukio and Storm being written as a lesbian couple or with a subtext. His actual exploration of that theme was loosely with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing.[1]Luminum (talk) 16:30, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Storm is definitely an Omega-level mutant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.230.127.120 (talk) 06:48, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Invisibility.

"She can also bend light using moisture in the air and her manipulation of mist and fog to appear partially transparent, and in later comics, nearly invisible."

Storm has never done this. So why is it on her power section? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZenithGod (talkcontribs) 20:52, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is referenced in the comics. We need an XMen expert here to reference where when and what issue for citation purposes, but I remember reading it in the comics before. Maybe Her Solo run? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.117.210.135 (talk) 01:12, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

Concerning the powers listed there, it seems like, even though the infobox is meant to quickly summarize, if it is to be an accurate summary, it should contain all of Storm's powers. If she is resistant to temperature extremes, that could be listed as a separate power. But "weather resistant" power is actually pretty inscrutable. I don't really see it explained in detail in the main article. I don't see mention of immunity to extreme temperatures in the main article either. I think the powers in the article body should be reviewed, and the listbox should be cleared and rewritten to more clearly summarize them. —Torchiest talkedits 13:40, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First off, there isn't a source claiming that she is "resistant to weather effects". Truthfully, it should probably be deleted out of the box. In every X-Men series, this character never displayed immunity to the weather. Every time the elements were turned against her, she suffered the expected fate. I would agree about rewritting the infobox. There are also too many names/aliases. I don't recall seeing a reference for "Mutate #20". Above all, when considering any aspect of infobox design, keep in mind the purpose of an infobox: to summarize key facts in the article in which it appears. The less information it contains, the more effectively it serves that purpose, allowing readers to identify key facts at a glance. For further information, please refer to this special Wikipedia page Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Infoboxes#Purpose of an infobox. Marvelct124 (talk) 13:49, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For what it's worth, I agree with Torchiest, obviously. 129.33.19.254 (talk) 15:05, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If a source is not added stating that she is "resistant to weather and elemental effects", I am going to remove it completely from the infobox. Powers that she allegedly has does not belong here. No one has yet to offer up a reliable source. I will remove this on Friday (4/11). Marvelct124 (talk) 15:07, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Due to the current external links, do you think it is a good idea for people who want more information on the character to have a character analysis podcast that takes an academic and in-depth look as to her inner workings and context in and outside of comics to have something else to source?

Powers

Her magical powers as well as her resistance to telepathy should be listed in the abilities section of the infobox. Also there has been instances of Storm manipulating matter to create clothes out of thin air. IIRC one such instance happened during the Dark Phoenix Saga when she tries to sneak into a Hellfire club party when Jean is under Mastermind's control, during this she transformed her X-men costume into a party dress. Penpaperpencil (Talk) 15:11, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No reply? Also in one interview G.Wilson defined her as an "Omega level mutant" ([2]). Should be noted in the page as well. Also her power is not weather manipulation per se, it's atmokinesis i.e she manipulates the forces behind the weather which inturn affects the weather. Similar power is depicted by another Omega level Mister M. Penpaperpencil (Talk) 16:12, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
