Not mentioned at the target. Presumably a Fujifilm product, but I have no idea what kind, and I have not been able to find it on Wikipedia using the search function Felix QW (talk) 09:36, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • REtarget to Astell & Kern where the SP3000 is mentioned, until Fujifilm is updated to add the Fuji film scanner, then it can be turned into a disambiguation page -- 65.92.247.90 (talk) 11:03, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Does this make sense despite the hyphen though? If it is retargeted, then one should somehow delink the occurrences at Commons that clearly refer to a Fuji product, as this is a redirect from a file metadata link. Felix QW (talk) 12:25, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
File metadata links are generated automatically cannot be (easily?) unlinked AFAIA. Thryduulf (talk) 13:42, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Thryduulf: Do you know whether they will be redlinked or removed if we delete the redirect? I am having trouble finding any documentation on how these links are generated, on Commons or here. Felix QW (talk) 14:22, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They are redlinked. After spending far longer than I intended poking around MediaWiki documentation I've discovered that, at least in theory, makes and/or models can be directed to specific places and (at least theoretically) unlinked by editing commons:Template:Exif-model-value or commons:Template:Exif-make-value, but this requires template editor permissions on Commons and seems unlikely to be something that should be done routinely. Just a clarification that I would still advocate deletion, since even on metadata file redlinks are better than reaching a page on which no information can be found. Retargeting seems problematic as long as the metadata file links can't be changed, and also unnecessary since SP3000 is not the same as the hyphenated SP-3000. Keep per WP:RFD#KEEP Point # 1. "Toro Inoue" has page history that includes a former article. I would also consider reverting it back to the article from August 11th, unless @Greenish Pickle! has a clear reason why the article isn't WP:GNG. The article had multiple citations from IGN & Gematsu and also has translations in at least 7 other languages. The article was also nominated for deletion on 26 November 2008 with the result of the discussion being keep (see talk page.) Referencer12 (talk) 07:23, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wonky capitalization, the other redirect that uses "IsO" in the title. This capitalization isn't in use as a variation, no incoming links, and ISO-8859-1 already exists. If the other is deleted this would be the final one. Utopes (talk / cont) 08:34, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Important folk dances" is a subjective term. Most lists on Wikipedia don't self-identify through the means of redirects to describe itself as a set of "important items"; so I don't see how this would be different here. Utopes (talk / cont) 07:40, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Strange casing in the ISO prefix. Is one of only two redirects that do this on all of Wikipedia. The regular version with a full caps ISO 639:amc already exists. Utopes (talk / cont) 07:35, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Esos son Reebok o son Nike?

The result of the discussion was delete. plicit 23:25, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am... conflicted to say the least on this one. This is not Reebok or nike; this title was created 3 months later, by a different user, for the same reason as the other it seems. Unlike the other title of "reebok or nike", this sentence has a bit more meat on its bones that is slightly closer sounding to the original lyric. But nevertheless, I don't think it would be a helpful redirect anyway and could likely be deleted.

I didn't even realize this existed when I made the first nomination at this RfD, and hence I'm conflicted. Different title, different creator, different creation day, and different RfD day. If someone is compelled to bundle this along with the other "reebok or nike" discussion, that's definitely understandable, although I'm not sure about the feasibility of doing so 7 comments later. Web of Science ID

[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) Cremastra (talk) 13:27, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect that exists for what I assume to be usage in DOI or in other identifying manners, for Web of Science related resources. That being said, no pages link here on Wikipedia, and the main Web of Science article does not make any reference to the associated "Web of Science ID". In regards to precedent, another "(identifier)" redirect was recently deleted in a similar situation during this discussion. Utopes (talk / cont) 06:00, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep as creator:
Web of Science article does not make any reference to the associated "Web of Science ID".
I don't think it's necessary for every page linked from an identifier template to have mention of an ID in it. For some examples, the majority of the templates linked from the catalog lookup link template don't link to anything about the identifier itself, but instead, the wikilink just leads to the page about the holding library or database. (e.g. Zbl (identifier) leads to zbMATH Open, Gale (identifier) leads to Gale (publisher), and EBSCOhost (identifier) leads to EBSCO Information Services, none of which have mention of the associated identifier on the target pages.)
These are no different than the Web of Science ID template linking to a redirect that points to the article Web of Science. And it has to lead through the redirect for the reasons laid out in the text of Template:R from identifier. So because it is required that identifier templates link through a page with the attached "(identifier)," at the very least, Web of Science ID (identifier) should be kept because that's what Template:Web of Science ID links through.
That being said, no pages link here on Wikipedia,
I only decided to make the Web of Science ID template after seeing how widely used it is on Wikidata. It has no transclusions as of yet, but if this ends with a keep, I can add WoS IDs to some journal articles, of which there are many cited on Wikipedia. It would be a waste to add the template to lots of citations, only for this RfD to end in delete, but there are nearly infinite possibilities of where links to this article via the template could come from.
About Web of Science ID, I don't have a scientific reason for this to be kept, it just felt weird to have the version with the appended parenthetical without this one, so I really have no objections to its deletion. BhamBoi (talk) 07:28, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. plicit 23:25, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect with zero pageviews since its creation. This was made after Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 October 13#Dream haorders had been closed for a week as delete. Aside from creating multiple redirects with the same typo in the wake of an RfD closing as delete (alongside Haord), this too is an unlikely spelling and not even pointed in the right spot to begin with. Utopes (talk / cont) 04:42, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

what would be the right spot to point it to? Iljhgtn (talk) 13:14, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. If this exists, it should point to the same target as Hoarder (the title it is a misspelling of), i.e. Hoarding (disambiguation). However I agree that this is not a useful redirect, so should be deleted rather than retargetted. Thryduulf (talk) 14:15, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
