Plot/Synopsis (Needs continued grammar and spelling editing)
The movie begins with Endsville, two weeks in the future as an Underworld Master, Lord Horror, sends two unrealistic robot replicas of Billy and Mandy named Mandroid and Billybot to the past to stop Mandy and Billy from obtaining Horror’s Hand, a giant wooden hand which Lord Horror has himself. As Mandroid and Billybot leave in a giant swirling vortex, future Billy and Irwin remember the old times and discover themselves too late to go in the vortex with Mandroid and Billybot. Turns out that Billy was too distracted with the opening credits that he forgot about the vortex and takes out his time traveling blue prints for a new machine. Irwin points out that it’s merely a drawing of policemen fighting a dinosaur. The duo decide to rely on their past counterparts to get the hand, and then they get captured by robots.
Meanwhile, in the past, Grim goes to reap General Skarr who first thinks Grim is the TV repairman. He discovers the truth when Grim sends the TV into a vortex. It turns out that somehow Skarr has a hole through his stomach. Grim discovers Billy and Mandy in the room as well. Mandy claims that the two are bored and want to go with Grim to work. Grim refuses and Mandy claims that since she won Grim in a game of Limbo, Grim has to be her best friend and any best friend would take their friends to work if the friend had a cool job. Skarr makes a run for it in a modified car and Grim and the children chase Skarr using Grim’s scythe as part broom and part car. While Grim argues with the children, they crash into a fireworks tent and get fire crackers in their clothes and mouths. They also end up having an fudge truck tied to the scythe. Later, Skarr even uses oil slick which merely causes the scythe to scrape the ground causing a fire to start in the oil and follow the group. Skarr finally moves into the ocean by turning his car into a sub and happy that he cheated Death. Skarr notices a button and pushes it. The button makes a laser beam shoot through the hole in his stomach, and after which he remembers where the hole came from to begin with. The group discovers the fudge truck behind them and the small fire coming. When the fire hits the fudge truck, everything explodes in a result with addition to the fireworks. The angry group comes home to Billy’s house, burnt. Irwin comes in attempting to kiss Mandy but fails. Mandy slams the door on him and is surprised when Irwin is sitting on the couch eating popcorn. Suddenly, the Underworld police break in and send Grim to court.
In court, Grim discovers that he’s charged for abusing his powers. The jury is split up in pairs and each pair sits atop a giant pillar. The jury includes Dracula, Frankenstein’s Bride, Wolfman, Fred Fredburger (famous from his role in Keeper of the Reaper), the blue vampire annoyed by Fred, a mud ghoul, Darth Vader, The Invisible Man, and about two other citizens. The fly guard is also seen. Of course, Judge Roy Spleen is judge as he sits in the flaming mouth of a giant statue head. To everybody’s surprise, Boogeyman is the prosecutor. In the end, Fred Fredburger finds Grim and the gang innocent. But later, he realizes that he made a mistake and Grim is guilty. Boogeyman has the kids and Grim in custody and Numbuh 3 who becomes the new reaper. Judge reveals that the girl is on a six week trial. Grim and the children are sent to Boogey’s pirate ship along with a few supernatural pirates and Boogeyman as captain with his friend, Creeper as first mate!
Meanwhile, Mandroid and Billybot go to Billy’s Dad’s/Harold’s house where they attempt to get information out of Harold. The androids find nothing and Billy gets damaged after drinking a cup of root beer and malfunctioning, making Billybot's head explode. Boogey’s ship makes it way to the Lava Sea where Boogey plans to feed the children to Lava Sharks. Boogey reveals his plot to steal Horror’s Hand and use it to be scary again. Then he’ll scare Grim until he’s destroyed. But first, Boogeyman must conquer his worst fears to own the Hand. Boogeyman sends Billy first to walk the plank. Billy reveals that he’s not scared as long as the sharks don’t eat them and starts a song called 'Scary-O.' Along with the song, Mandy and the rest of the captives make a run for it. Billy sings the song about how he’s not scared of earthquakes if the earth doesn’t shake and at the end of the song, he briefly sings about how he’s hungry. Irwin, Mandy, and Grim make a run on the getaway boat, the "deathboat" (obvious reference to a lifeboat). Billy comes along and Mandy asks what he was doing, Billy responds saying that every animated movie needs a song. Mandy sees Boogey dancing and says, "Now that’s scary."
Boogeyman is first to go through the gate to Horror’s Hand and claims that Billy and Mandy must go through the Cyclops to go through the gate. The group decides to stop Boogey and claim Horror’s Hand. Mandy wants to rule the world with the hand, Billy wants to buy food, Irwin wants to marry Mandy with the hand, and Grim could reclaim his role as Grim Reaper and get his scythe back. But Grim then starts to think that he'll never get his scythe back and starts to cry. Mandy says that he's just going through the 7 stages of grief (but he's stuck on Anger). The group meets a little blind Cyclops with no eye replacing it with an eye-patch. The little Cyclops sends his friend, a giant orange Cyclops to go test the children. Irwin thinks the test is a riddle and offers to step up. But the test is actually a taste test as the Big Cyclops puts the group in his mouth to see if he tastes good. The children have passed the test! The Cyclops puts the group into a soup to wait for them to cook. Mandy fakes the Cyclops into thinking Billy farted in the soup. Billy reveals he actually did and the Big Cyclops throws the group out. Mandy jumps out and steals the bigger Cyclops’ eye. There is a fight and the eye ends up in Billy’s stomach. It turns out that the eye is used also for Boogeyman to see the group. Boogeyman turns his head into disgust as he looks where the eye goes. Creeper offers to build robot replicas of the children and shows Boogeyman the blue prints. Suddenly, Mandroid and Billybot teleport into the ship and Boogeyman is surprised of how fast Creeper worked. Mandroid and Billybot offer to help Boogeyman destroy Mandy and Billy.
The group run away from the Cyclops Cove and discover a giant cake as they run near the getaway ship. Mandy is suspicious but a crazy Irwin and Billy stuff the cake into Mandy and Grim’s mouths. Suddenly, the rest of the group fall into a sleep and Mandy soon follows into the trance. Inside the cake, Mandroid comes out of the cake’s hatch and reveals that she plans on taking the brains of the group. The group is having a hive mind dream when Boogeyman comes in and kidnaps Mandy. Meanwhile, Mandy is put under the Boogeyman's spell making her sleep until her spirit is broken. The Boogeyman laughs as a mad Irwin storms in and beats up all the pirates. Grim tells Billy that love makes people do stupid things. Billy reveals that he loves everything and Grim says that, that explains a whole lot. Irwin kisses Mandy awake to Grim’s and Billy’s utter disgust. Mandy is grossed out and vomits twice. Mandroid comes in and threatens with a laser gun. Mandy is disgusted by how unrealistic Mandroid is and causes Mandroid to malfunction. Mandy takes the laser gun and shoots a stalactite down stopping the pirates from attacking and the group makes a run for it on the deathboat and goes in the lead to Horror’s Hand’s Temple. Boogeyman sends the Kraken to go after the four. The group climbs up the long stairs of the temple and meet Horror and his cut left hand at the top of the temple. Horror is an alive statue. Horror reveals that he cut out his own left hand to put his fears inside the hand and became courageous. But new fears came so now, Horror just plays computer games on the computer. Boogeyman comes in and the Kraken engulfs Billy to everybody’s horror. Horror decides to hold a river race called the Cannibal Run and the winner will have to fight Horror and then receive the hand if the race winner beats Horror.
Boogeyman’s ship is shown to have a sea monster fused to the bottom instead of a rowing crew, and Mandy, Grim and Irwin must race in a small boat without Billy. Mandy shows a sign of weakness before Billy resurfaces and reveals he breathed by using his own farts and also made friends with the Kraken. The race starts. Throughout it, the team become puppets, destroy a sea witch with laser guns, glue their boat back together with snot after it's cut to pieces, and even get attacked by Japanese movie monsters. After all that, Team Grim wins and easily defeats Horror with Mandy tearing off Billy's nose and throwing it at his head. The group try to face their worst fears, as Billy faces a clown spider mailman, Irwin faces stand up comedy jokes to bears, and Mandy faces being all sunshine and rainbows, being overweight, and married to Irwin. But Grim is the only one who conquers them as he lives his nightmare every day: living with Billy and Mandy. After Grim picks up the hand, Boogeyman steals the hand - but is defeated by his worst fear: discovering that he’s not scary and getting laughed by everybody. Grim later reveals that he turned the Hand off and Boogeyman now is living his life in his fears. The police come in and Judge Roy Spleen tries to banish Grim, but Mandy threatens the Judge so he decides to give Grim his job back and fire Numbuh 3 (although he remarks that Numbuh 3 was a great reaper in her own way). When Fred Fredburger says that "If I hadn't tried to eat all of the nachos, I never would have known I could", the team learns a valuable lesson: that they got what they wanted without having the Hand. Grim saved the world even without the scythe, Mandy got her own way once again, Irwin finally got to kiss his true love, and Billy is getting a new bike for Christmas. To everybody’s surprise, future Billy teleports into the temple and reveals that Mandy is planning to steal the Hand, just as Mandy gets hypnotized by it and seeing future Billy, nude, makes her trance go away. Mandy merely shrugs and hands the hand back to Grim. Grim is forced to put the Hand somewhere. Grim decides to put the Hand in his trunk. The group returns home with future-Billy saying his farewells. Billy asks what he’s going to have for lunch next Tuesday and future Billy says, “I could tell you but then I would have to kill you." Mandy orders Grim to make dinner. Meanwhile, Billybot and now more realistic Mandroid order their own servant, Creeper to serve his drinks. During the credits, we see what happened to everyone:
- Grim returned to fighting supernatural clogs
- Mandy became the new captain of the Boogey Bay
- Billy became president of the United States
- Irwin caught mono and cooties from kissing Mandy
- Skarr put his hole to good use
- Creeper made a fortune selling time traveling pants
- Billybot and Mandroid transformed to fight crime
- Hoss Delgado did not appear in the movie
- The Cyclopses got their own cooking show
- The Kracken was arrested for 8-armed robbery
- Numbuh 3 set up her own reaping business
- Horror became a rock god
- The Boogey Man lives in fear to this very day
- Grim's scythe was stolen once again... (by Dracula)
After the end credits, future Billy returns to his time to see that nothing has changed. He gets grabbed by robots, and sees that Fred Fredburger stole the hand. Fred says that is worst nightmare was running out of nachos. He then spells nachos with a Z instead of an S, and the movie ends.

Cultural references
- When Skarr is visited by Grim he points to the hole in his stomach and says "It's merely a flesh wound" it is a reference to the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- Horror's Hand, the object this movie revolves around, is likely inspired by the Marvel Comics Infinity Gauntlet.
- The concept of a pirate crew being able to summon the Kraken is most likely taken from Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Man's Chest. However, this was refuted by Maxwell Atoms in his blog.
- Towards the end of the movie when Boogy walks off the cliff which he fell off of the first time, he does a yell similar to the Disney character Goofy's famous Goof Yell "Yaaaah-Hoo-Hoo-Hoo-Hooey".
- During the car scene, Dr. Major Ghastly makes a cameo appearance in a poster
- Features Billy's spirited rendition of his song "Scary-O" (Sergeant Pooper's Lonely Farts Club Sandwich, a reference to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) because "all animated movies have singing".
- At one point during "Scary-O", Billy is dressed up like Aladdin Sane, like in the episode Battle of the Bands.
- The Cannibal Run is drawn from a race from a movie of a similar title.
- The Cannibal Run at the end of the movie draws much inspiration from Jason and the Argonauts and The Odyssey. The most obvious of these references are Horror, who greatly resembles the titan Talos, and the Crushing Cliffs at the end of the race course.
- The Japanese movie monsters Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Anguirus, Rodan, Gigan and Gamera (in that order) all make brief appearances in this episode on an underworld roller coaster ride called Monster Island, a location also lifted from these movies.
- The commercials used to mention the upcoming US TV premiere of the movie are parodies of the notorious HeadOn commercial.
- Earth, Wind and Fire's song (feat. The Emotions) Boogie Wonderland is featured in the main commercial "trailer" for the US premiere and is used during the ending credits of the movie.
- Numbah 3 from Codename Kids Next Door appear several times in the movie. This acts as a prelude to the soon-to-be-released Codename: KND and Billy and Mandy crossover "The Grim Adventures of the KND" Also, Grim refereneces Codename Kids Next Door when he loses his powers and says, "Who are you gonna get to be the Grim Reaper instead of me? The Kids Next Door!?!"
- When Boogey goes into the pipe in Mandy, Billy, Grim, and Irwin's dream, it makes a sound like the pipes from the Mario series. In fact, this noise is taken from the Mario Cartoons.
- Ro-Man from the movie Robot Monster can be seen in the jury during Grim's trial.
- During the court scene, one can see Darth Vader, a main character from the Star Wars movies, as part of the jury.
- Creeper sounds similar to Murdoc Niccals of the Gorillaz a popular Virtual Band.
- A monster wears a top hat and plays guitar similar to Slash during the song "Scary-O". He also has a guitar similar to the one Eddie Van Halen uses.
- Next to Darth Vader during Grim's trial you can see the Invisible Man.
- The manner that Billy travels back in time is similar to that of the Terminator.
- Boogie says if the Creeper keeps annoying him, employee of the month will go to Fred Fred Burger. After he says this, we get a quick glance at Fred Fred Burger drinking rocket fuel through his nose and singing his version of "Frère Jacques," roughly translated as this:
Frare-a-zhaka, Frare-a-zhaka, I gotta poo, I goota poo, bla bla bla bla bla bla, bla bla bla bla bla bla, ding dong, fred fred burger! yes
Trivia
- These are the characters who have the least lines then anybody else (Only counting ones who actually have lines):
- Dracula who has 3 lines, including "Dracula hate jury duty."
- The Bride of Frankenstein has 2 lines; she says "Stone him!" twice.
- The blue vampire has only 1 line: "No, you idiot! That says guilty!"
- Sperg is credited but did not appear or have any lines in the movie.
- Mandy almost smiles after thinking about how much power she would have if she had Horror's Hand.
- In Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure, when Billy is supposedly eaten by the Kraken, Mandy shows emotion towards the fact that he may not survive. However, she doesn't admit it.
- Irwin actually kisses Mandy in the movie when she is under a sleeping spell, similar to the fairy tales Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.
- Mandy's worst fear is her becoming all sunshine and rainbows, overweight, and married to Irwin.
- Billybot cries out "Destroy us all!" just like Billy does in Attack of the Clowns.
- Billybot speaks like HK-47 from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. He would state what type of sentence he was saying before the actual sentence ("Statement:...", "Suggestion:...").
- Billybot's front control panel resembles R2-D2's control panel.
- When Boogey takes Mandy through a pipe while the gang is asleep, the noise of Mario entering a pipe can be heard as in Super Mario Bros.
- If Mandy in the future, two weeks from the present in the movie, sends Mandroid and Billybot to destroy the present's Billy and Mandy, that would eliminate the fact that she ever even had Horror's hand.
- During the credits, when you see what happened to everyone, during Creeper's the cavemen resemble characters from The Flintstones (Fred, Barney and Wilma)
Goofs
- At the beginning when Grim comes to reap Skarr you see through the hole in his chest, but you should actually see the robe he is wearing.
- Skarr loses the hole in his chest sometime during the chase scene (He gets it back when he presses a random button in his submarine/car). How this happened is never explained.
- When future Billy arrives in the past and leaves the past, he dissapears in a ball of energy. However, when he arrives in a future ruled by Fred Fredburger, he arrives using a swirling portal similar to the portals Grim makes with his scythe.
