December 2009
[edit]Taylor's Football playing dad is also a national Bobsledder [1]. Taylor chose # 4 because Bobby Orr was his mother's (Kim Strba) favourite player [2]. I'll let someone else bring up the Batman underwear. 24.77.84.175 (talk) 03:07, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
Dates in article titles
[edit]These really bug me. Is there some sort of standardization in the Hockey wikiproject? When it comes to most people, I move them right on the spot. I would support moving this to Taylor Hall (Alberta ice hockey player) and the other to Saskatchewan. I know policy is to drop the word player, but what would we do if the other Hall was American? -- Earl Andrew - talk 16:09, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's moot now as another user boldly moved this article to just Taylor Hall, but as per your suggestion, "Alberta hockey player" would be potentially confusing as most would consider Hall to be an "Ontario hockey player". The disambig titles exist simply to differentiate differing topics that share the same name. I personally favour our current system, and the need for date specific disambiguation is rare.
