Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page.--PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:28, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024
Hello Jax 0677,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
Reminders:
- You can access live chat with patrollers on the New Pages Patrol Discord.
- Consider adding the project discussion page to your watchlist.
- To opt out of future mailings, please remove yourself here.

Regarding PRODing
If you're going to use PRODs, like you did on Margaret Tynes, please actually look for sources first. If you don't have The Wikipedia Library to do so, then I'd highly recommend you apply for access. Because just with Newspapers.com from there, I found these easily:
- 'I have lived for music and art'
- Soprano Is Bonus Gift To Concert Patrons
- Opera Star Keeps Her Ties To Home
So it's quite clear that she's notable. SilverserenC 21:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - @Silver seren:, I just did a brief search for sources, and there were few, not to mention the fact that they did not jump out at me as to indicating why she is notable, which should be placed in the actual article itself anyway. --Jax 0677 (talk) 21:41, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- The sources I linked above clearly indicate her notability as an opera singer. Furthermore, per WP:NEXIST, sources do not have to be in an article for the article subject to be notable. Are you seriously claiming Tynes isn't notable after I already have shown you multiple full length articles about her life? SilverserenC 21:46, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - @Silver seren:, WP:BURDEN. IMHO, creating unreferenced articles could become a problem. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:29, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

New draft of Avia Solutions Group page
Hi Jax 0677, I am working to update the Avia Solutions Group. Since the page is challenging to read, I wrote a new draft that is well sourced and easier to understand. The draft is posted here. I see that you are an active editor and that you're a participant in WP:Companies, so I hope you'll consider taking a look and implementing the new draft. Thank you, Agne for ASG (talk) 13:36, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - @Agne for ASG:, both your draft and the existing article do look good to me. You are welcome to begin a chat at Talk:Avia Solutions Group with other people who are shown in the article history as having edited the page. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:27, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, Jax 0677. I posted on the Talk:Avia Solutions Group nearly 2 weeks ago in hopes of getting some attention from interested parties. Other editors are welcome to weigh in, but no one has shown any interest. I am glad my draft looks good to you, would you please consider implementing it on the main page? Given my COI status, I am reluctant to make the edits myself. I really appreciate it, Thank you, Agne for ASG (talk) 14:33, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Indian Motortcycle Manufacturing Company
A tag has been placed on Indian Motortcycle Manufacturing Company requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fram (talk) 08:16, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
