Ian Maurice Gold (born August 23, 1978 in Belleville, Michigan) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent.

High school and college

While attending Belleville High School in Belleville, Michigan, Gold starred in football, basketball, and track & field. He attended the University of Michigan and played for the Wolverines.

Professional career

Gold was drafted by the Denver Broncos. After playing for the Broncos in 2004, Gold left to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After one season in Florida, Gold returned to the Broncos.

On February 29, 2008, Gold was released by Denver.[1]The same day Gold signed with the Miami Doplhins
