Problem

Hey Nikki, I hate to bother you but I'm having a problem with another user, and I know you're an administrator, so I thought I'd ask your opinion. User:Kaizer13 has a problem with me reverting some of their edits, but I'm not sure whether they would be considered personal attacks or not under wiki guidelines. See here, here and here. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. NiciVampireHeart (talk) 19:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, will do. Thank you so much! NiciVampireHeart (talk) 19:20, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:Kaizer13

Could you talk to User:Kaizer13? He seems to have a past history with being uncivil and his edit summaries have continued to show that. Take a look at WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It for his recent deflamitory remarks. [1] -- bulletproof 3:16 03:57, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Problem

I feel like I'm being ganged on with the Invasion article by people bringing up a lot of horrible points. Some points sound all right, but others are a total joke. Especially since Simonski or whatever his name is was huffing and puffing from the start. My arguments are constantly misrepresented, straw mans are used... it's ridiculous. I'm wondering if you'd be able to lend a hand in the Discussion section because I'm getting irritated, and I don't want to get banned because I lash out due to straw mans used by other users. Thanks. -- Frightwolf (talk) 19:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to hear your view in this. Hopefully we can have this POV issue straightened out soon. -- bulletproof 3:16 05:04, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll read over the discussion and give my opinion late tonight after I get home from work. Nikki311 16:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome question. I answered it and you might sorta like it or not. I asked you two, just to be fair. SexySeaShark 20:28, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:LOTD

In the last month, you have created a new WP:FL. From what I can tell, you are a veteran and have produced others in the past. Congratulations! You may be aware of WP:LOTD and have probably heard from me in prior months. We are experimenting with selecting Lists of the Day so similar to the current WP:TFA and WP:POTD features that run on the main page. I am invite those who have created new FLs in the last month to participate.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 21:57, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A Little Help

Hey, I put up a request for a username change at WP:CHU, but I'm pretty sure that only an admin. can perform the username change. So I was wondering, if it's not too much trouble, can you take a visit to that page and switch my username. (Hardyboyz27-->IMatthew) iMatthew 01:46, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if you already knew about it, but... only bureaucrats can actually change usernames. Just a little DYK course. :) The Chronic 02:48, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks anyways! iMatthew 02:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there

Hey, it's good to hear from you again. Thanks for your overview of the Lisa Marie Varon page. I wasn't sure about some of the information in the personal life section though, but whatever. I haven't been too active here lately either. I'm currently looking at Torrie Wilson's article and the only thing I've noticed thus far is inconsistency with names. That's about it. I will change them as I continue to read, but the ones I'm unsure of I will inform you about. Afterwards, I agree about nominating them both. - Deep Shadow 15:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just finished reading and made the changes plus some other minor edits. I basically just changed "Torrie" to "Wilson". The only times I didn't was with the storyline involving her father, and also in the early life section when her mother is mentioned. I wasn't sure if it should be changed to "Wilson" because her parents are also Wilsons, so it is up to you how to go with that. I also noticed that there may be some overlinking throughout the article. It is my understanding that it is okay to link same terms as long as they are not in the same section, but I did see that terms like face, turn, feud, angle etc are almost always wikilinked everytime they appear. I did not correct this issue as I don't have a lot of time right now to do so. And one other very minor note was with Wilson and Candice Michelle being drafted during the 2005 draft lottery. The link (exactly the same as the one I used ←) doesn't direct to the specific section, so I went to correct it and saw no mention of Wilson being drafted. Then I remembered when I worked on Candice's article and had a similar problem. Candice was traded to SmackDown! during the draft but was moved back to Raw along with Wilson a few months later. It was apparently a trade outside of the draft which sent Stacy Keibler and Christy Hemme to SmackDown! in their place. The article is here. Aside from these notes, I can't see anything else that bothers me. Kudos! - Deep Shadow 16:47, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome. :) - Deep Shadow 05:12, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe, cool. And thanks for putting the nomination for Varon's article under my name. :) Just out of curiosity, how would a featured topic work based on the WWE Divas? I ask because you once mentioned you were interested in creating an FT, but would the topic only cover current Divas (similar to how lists of World Wrestling Entertainment champions only contains the active titles) or Divas past and present? - Deep Shadow 05:24, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talia Madison / Jamie Szantyr / Velvet Sky

Hi! The Talia Madison article has landed at Wikipedia:Deletion review again: Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2008 January 14#Talia Madison.

This time around, User:Tigrahawk has created a version of the article in userspace in the hope of it being reckoned to sufficiently demonstrate notability: it can be found at User:Tigrahawk/Sandbox

Since you were one of the knowledgeable commenters at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Talia Madison, I was wondering if you might take a look at it and let me know what you think? It seems OK to me, but I'm out of touch with professional wrestling these days. --Stormie (talk) 02:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, yep, seems that someone moved it over into article space just after I posted here. :-) --Stormie (talk) 08:02, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
..aaaand it's been nominated for deletion again. You might like to share your thoughts at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Velvet Sky. Cheers! --Stormie (talk) 09:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Rumble

Hey Nikki! Just wanted to inform you that the Royal Rumble article is currently being bombarded with IP vandalism. It's been going on for the past few hours now. -- bulletproof 3:16 00:35, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did you protect the article? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:02, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind, I saw that its protected. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:04, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be nice to combine the 12 stub articles at Category:Universal Wrestling Federation (Herb Abrams) championships into one well-sourced article, since there's no real hope of expanding the stubs (most of the titles had only one champion). I've created the page in my sandbox (here). Do you think this would work, or should we stick with individual articles for each title? I asked on the WP:PW talk page, but people have been preoccupied with this Fresh Prince Carlton guy. Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:42, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A few people responded and said it was a good idea, so I went ahead and merged them. It can always be discussed and undone if anyone strongly objects, though. GaryColemanFan (talk) 21:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, Nikki311 ... is it just me, or does Eve Torres (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) seem to be getting a little too "week by week"? Georgia assessment

I'll have to politely disagree with you on this one. Rather than put the wrong class on all these articles, its better to fix the template. I can try and do so if you like, as I put a lot of that functionality into the template a while back. Any reason you didn't first put a note on the template's talk page asking it to be fixed? --Roswell native (talk) 15:36, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I fiddled with the template and could not get it to work in the short amount of time I had today. I also put a note requesting help on the template talk page to see if any other editors want to work on it. The Wikiproject Texas tag appears to function correctly (and the code is much more clean) so I may just modify it to replace the current one if no one objects. The current one was modified the same way from the California wikiproject page. --Roswell native (talk) 22:08, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I have an updated test template that gets rid of the problem above. Please test it to see if it meets your approval. It's at Template:WikiProject GeorgiaUStest. I am using it on a test talk page if you want to play with it there: User talk:Roswell native/testing. I'll alost post on the template talk page for the one currently in use. --Roswell native (talk) 09:38, 2 February 2008 (UTC)--Roswell native (talk) 09:37, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I updated the Template:WikiProject GeorgiaUS yesterday. Let me know if you see any issues with it, and I'll revert back if necessary. Thanks. --Roswell native (talk) 04:07, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Angel Williams

Hey Nikki, I made a few minor edits to the Angel Williams page which were reverted and just wondered if you could help me. i run a fan site for Angel over on MySpace which i added the link for as it's the only fan site that Angel has looked at, approved and added to her top friends in order for her fans to look at and add. This link was removed. I added it again the day after and again it was removed only this time angel's official myspace link was removed by somebody (nobody reverted this). I removed a couple of the out of date external links (some of them 5 years old) and this is how i came to find you as you reverted it and sent me a message saying what i did was not 'constructive'. I was simply updating the links with newer stuff. I have personal contact with Angel so if there's anything you want cleared up i can sort it. Leanne. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Talia madison (talkcontribs) 01:31, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re; your message - then why is there an 'official myspace fan site' for Traci Brooks and an 'official' forum which is run by fans and not Christy Hemme and also why is there a link to miss-hemme.com which is a fansite. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Talia madison (talkcontribs) 16:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I have sourced the entire Elimination Chamber article, to improve it's quality (may it be given a B rating?) also can we move the detailed matches of the HiaC article to List of Hell in a Cell matches.--TrUCo9311 02:22, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, what do you think needs to be added to the EC article to probably nominate it for GA/FL? Also can we make the move I suggested above?--TrUCo9311 19:01, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok, I agree. I think you should just get rid of those matches, like you said its listcruft.--TrUCo9311 19:20, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:Kaizer13 being uncivil

Since you were the one that blocked Kaizer13 most recently, I thought I would bring this up to you. He is at it again, see his talk page here: User talk:Kaizer13. I would've just posted a warning, but he doesn't seem to listen to those. Also, it should be noted: he isn't new to this either. His block logs shows numerous blocks for this same behavior. RobJ1981 (talk) 20:06, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In case you didn't notice: he made a rude comment, and then blanked it off his talk page. RobJ1981 (talk) 05:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a bunch of references to the article, so there shouldn't be any problem with that. I know you said you wanted to look over it, so I thought I'd leave a message here. I did post it on the WP:PW talk page but I wasn't sure if you saw it or not. Anyway, I intend to nominate the article for GA in about one week, so any copyediting, fixes, etc before then would be appreciated. Regards, NiciVampireHeart (talk) 10:50, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Small question. I know naming convention say that the articles subject is referred to by their last name, in this case, Jeff is referred to as Hardy. But what do I do with mentions of Matt in the article? If I change them to Hardy as well people are going to get so confused, but once a person's mentioned once by name, all over mentions are supposed to be of their last name. All help greatly appreciated! Regards, NiciVampireHeart (talk) 11:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, great. NiciVampireHeart (talk) 13:49, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've been working on sourcing this article, but I've run into a small problem. Reference #8 won't show up properly, and I was wondering if you've run into this before. I was also wondering if you could look the article over when you have a chance. I figure it's at least a Start-class, but I'm not sure whether it's good enough for B-class yet. The Former WWE programming article looks great, by the way. Thanks for all of your work with the stub articles. Your help is always appreciated. Wrestling championship lists

I've decided to work on getting Start-class articles improved to B-class in addition to the work I've been doing on stubs. Since the easiest ones are the championships, I wanted to start with some of them. I was wondering, though, if any properly-sourced title list would qualify for B-class or if some are just too short. For example, if a title has only one, two, or three champions listed, would it still be B-class if citations were provided for each reign? Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 21:18, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've run across this user on Erick Stevens, and after purviewing his talk page and noticing I gave him a final warning for what he is still doing to this day on September 26, 2006 I'm thinking he finally needs a blocking to get the message across. I am however wary of doing so as it seems evident I have had an acrimonious relationship with this user for seemingly several years now and noticed you recently also warned him for the same sort of edits. How do you think we should proceed? –– Lid(Talk) 04:41, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nikki

Hi Nikki! It's been a while. So, would you care to give me rollback. I'll probably stick with Twinkle, but I'd like to give the rollbacker function a try. Cheers, SexySeaBass 05:10, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Nikki. So, how's everything been going? How's life with the admin target on your back? SexySeaBass 05:23, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, things are alright. They aren't as good as they usually are, but nothing worth complaining about (anymore). In real life I've been diagnosed with depression, and then got prescribed an incorrect medication meant for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. So, a week of my life is a drugged up haze, but now I'm doing fine, and I'm back to my old cheerful self. Gotta love them psychotropic drugs ;) SexySeaBass 05:34, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Being knocked out for fifteen hours after being up for 72 was kind of cool, but otherwise I had a headache and I was lethargic most of the time. I had no appetite, which was very weird for me, but kind of liberating as well. Anyway, that's what I remember of it. It also caused memory loss :P. It's kind of like looking back on a night you got drunk; you wonder what all happened. I know I was walking around everywhere tripping out, and I have to laugh thinking about how I probably freaked some of my friends out. I'm generally no-nonsense in real life. SexySeaBass 05:44, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, goodnight Nikki. Thanks again for the rollback, and it was nice talking to you again. Cheers, SexySeaBass 05:52, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Torrie Wilson

The article Torrie Wilson you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold. Oh, I published it already. The one in my sandbox is for the 2005 WWE Draft. Three questions, 1)Do you think I can publish the 2005 WWE Draft (the one in my sandbox; and I have added the aftermath). 2)Do you think I can be a good administrator despite the feuds I have encountered? (i have explained my feuds on her page). 3)Does the brand extension look good?--TrUCo9311 02:14, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that 218.101.69.173 took out a large chunk of the talk page for Jeff Hardy, which I did revert. However, I don't know how to go about issuing a warning to the user. I was hoping you could give me some info on that.  Hazardous Matt  23:23, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Questions about two articles

Hi, I was wondering if you would be able to look over a couple of articles when you have some free time. I added a WP:PW template to Callum Sprit, but I'm not convinced that he's notable. He's worked for a few promotions in Europe (most are redlinked) and won a few belts (all of which are redlinked). I didn't want to post this on the WP:PW talk page because that would most likely lead to deletion within the hour, but I was wondering what you thought. I generally oppose deletion, but the little content that does exist is so meaningless ("He has done a lot in 2 years." "He is a fun baby face.").

I am also wondering what to do with Triple X Wrestling (there is nothing pornographic about it). The article is cluttered with a bunch of sections, but I'm not sure which ones should just be removed. I think it could be a decent article, but it's a bit of a (fairly well-organized) mess right now. Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 15:42, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox 2008

I understand were yer are comin' from, but I figured it'd be easier to have a second option that alittle different, kinda like WCW and the WWF. But I'm lettin' anyone who has a good idea on how to make it better edit it. Who know's, be kinda nice to have a "Sandbox Infobox Template" that we can experement with and see what we can do to make it better. Just a thought. --Crash Underride 00:50, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have you noticed

That on WWE.com, they're promoting TNA Lockdown? O_o I just read earlier some rumour about the WWE website having been hacked. I guess that's what they're referring to: http://www.wwe.com/inside/industrynews/6544892

I wonder how long 'til it's fixed. Oh, and if it's not there when you read this, I have screenshots too. Bizarre. Th 2005 (talk) 17:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looks like I was wrong. A couple of news sites (well, namely, ProWrestling.net, the new 'sister site' of PWTorch.com) are reporting that it's not a mistake. Apparently, the headlines and sources in "Industry News" are cherrypicked by an editor at WWE.com, presumably so as to not have bad press for WWE wind up in that part of the site. Still, it's weird that they'd promote TNA like that after taking that whole stance where they practically ignored every potshot, shoot and mere mention of them that happened in TNA. Every other headline on that section of the site is WWE-related except that one, too. Th 2005 (talk) 03:15, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving Your Talk Page

Would you like me to archive your talk page? Also would you like me to make you an automatic archive box?--TrUCo9311 21:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok, thats fine by me. Now I fixed and cleaned up the event and aftermath section of No Way Out (2007) is it better now?--TrUCo-X 18:21, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh im sorry, I only wanted to keep the BG section as it was, as I was also cleaniing it up, but I think you reverted it right?--TrUCo-X 18:55, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Diva pages

Thanks for letting me know. That would be a cool article to work on and I'm sure after you go through it, it will have a very good chance at GAN. I will also give it a pre-GA review when you're done. I'm not too sure when I will get stuck into another Diva article due to real life commitments but whenever I get some extended free time I will try to tackle one. It's getting more difficult now to choose an article to work on but I may attempt the Beth Phoenix page next. Oh, and I never had Dawn Marie Psaltis on my watchlist until a few days ago, but looking at the page it is very good. You should be proud of all the good work you do. - Deep Shadow 06:43, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have a few days off this week and I was thinking that instead of getting started on Beth Phoenix's page, I would do an official GA review of Dawn Marie Psaltis as soon as you nominate it. I have never edited the article and I am not a member of WP:PW, so I feel that makes me an impartial reviewer. However, if you have any objections to me doing the review it is okay, I will not be offended. - Deep Shadow 04:46, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Rickard, and Vicotr Rivera

Who are they? What makes them notible enough for an article? I've watch wrestling for most of my life and NEVER ONCE heard of them. Also the links for the NWA titles on Peter Maivia's page, I think only one would be enough, because what's the point in linking them ALL to the exact same page? And once again you put the REFERENCES list in the "Notes" section, if it was a list of "notes" it would be "

not reference list. --Crash Underride 06:19, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, I coulda sworen that I left one of the titles linked to the NWA, and if not, sorry, I thought I did. Secondly, you're probably right that Rivera could get a page, now that you mentioned his tag run in the WWE, I do seem to remember the name, but not a face. As for Rickard, I honestly don't know about that, I would say that if he would have a link in the article is should just be in the infobox until then. --Crash Underride 18:43, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And I can live with Victor Rivera bein' linked. To help out, I'll do some searches and see what I can get on him and maybe work on a page for him. --Crash Underride 19:37, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think SummerSlam (2007) is now ready for GAN? I'm still going to wait the one week policy, but I would like you're opinion. --Cheers, LAX 00:20, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template

Since no one responds on the project page, is it ok to create a template for defunct WWE Championships. I went ahead and created two examples in my sandbox. 1)Is it ok to create the template? 2)If so, which example is better?--TrUCo-X 21:09, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I created the first one.--TrUCo-X 18:15, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've been told you're a good reference point for all things wrestling: so with that in mind, would you like to do an interview for the Signpost's WikiProject report? Rudget. 15:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2008-03-10/WikiProject report - hopefully you won't mind doing three questions. :) Rudget. 11:37, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you accept Nikki, you can choose any three questions. I'd like three and four if possible. Cheers! iMatthew 2008 12:17, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Which questions would you like to answer? iMatthew 2008 18:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
