The Fairly OddParents: Wishology (or just known as "Wishology") is the 9th, 10th and 11th The Fairly OddParents TV movies seen on Nickelodeon in the United States and YTV in Canada, featuring characters from The Fairly OddParents television series. In production order, this movie is divided into 1 hour long episodes: The Big Beginning, The Exciting Middle Part, and The Final Ending. The movie features spoofs of hit sci-fi/fantasy film franchises, such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Twitches, Doctor Who and The Terminator. The movie also features a reference to Back to the Future, during the chase between Timmy Turner, Jorgen Von Strangle, and the Eliminators. The Eliminators are a parody of Terminators with one of them in a leather jacket and sunglasses being an obvious parody of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character in the Terminator series. "Wishology" is the first and only Fairly OddParents episode to be broadcast in widescreen High Definition (however the regular Standard Definition intro is shown at the beginning).

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from hard rock band KISS are doing the episode as themselves, along with actor Patrick Warburton as the MERF agents (a parody of Men in Black), and actor Brendan Fraser (The Mummy) as Turbo Thunder.

Synopsis

This movie was split up into three hour-long episodes. For its original airing on May 1, 2009, the first hour-long episode aired at 8 p.m. On May 2 and 3, 2009 the last two hour-long episodes were aired. The movie has since been shown at least twice more by Nickelodeon; however, each episode is still broken up into its own one-hour time frame and treated as an individual 'episode'. It has also been on August 1, 2009 at 11:30am and ends 12:30 on Nick Replay.

Part 1: The Big Beginning

The Big Beginning starts with Timmy wishing he was in his own movie trilogy (which parodies The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter). Where he was chased by Crocker, both having special powers. Then wishes he had a second movie, where he simply throws a ring into a volcano. Then Becomes "Timmy Totter" playing "Poofer Scoop" chasing Poof around, until Vicky appears as "Moldy Wart" and chases him, which is then interrupted by Jorgen. Timmy is sent back home where he can't find Cosmo, Wanda or Poof and his family and friends don't remember him (which Timmy claims was just like any one of his other normal mornings). When he screams out his name, an Eliminator (A spoof of the Terminator, played by Gary Sturgis) shows up and begins attacking him and chases after him. Jorgen saves him and informs him that his fairies are fine. Or maybe not, since he's turned all the fairies into gumballs and stuck them in a gumball machine in a greasy truck stop bar. A fat kid starts buying the gumballs and chomps up Binky, then almost chomps up Wanda, but Cosmo rescues her and Poof. Meanwhile, Jorgen takes Timmy to a cave in Fairy World called the "Cave of Destiny" (a parody of the Cave of Wonders) where there is the prophecy about the ancient fairies that fought the Darkness and stayed in outer space as stars guarding earth. It also explains that someone with a pink hat, buck teeth and the initials TT is the chosen one who "must find the white wand in the rock sealed with a kiss", which leads Jorgen to believe that it must be Timmy. After finding Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof, Timmy gets chased by M.E.R.F. Alien Hunters (Spoofing Men in Black, voiced by Patrick Warburton). They believe that he is an alien due to the fact that he doesn't seem to exist and that photographs have been taken of him being chased by the Eliminators.

After a battle of wits, Timmy uses the Alien Hunter's freeze ray and freezes them. Timmy then steals an airplane and ends up in a Kiss concert in Las Vegas where he finds out that Kiss are actually fairy guardians and that the white wand is one of their guitars—they have been guarding it for centuries. They don't believe him when he tells them he is the chosen one, telling him to say the chosen one's creed. In frustration Timmy ends up saying his name out loud, causing the Eliminators to appear. Seeing that the Eliminators want to destroy him, Kiss believes he is the chosen one. The Darkness arrives and tries to swallow everyone in the concert hall before Timmy plays the White Wand (And Strangely Playing It With His Tongue causing Gene Simmons to say "Man That is One Long Tongue.") and starts forcing the Darkness back with magical bursts from the guitar (Similar to activating star power in Guitar Hero). The Darkness then retreats after taking all the Eliminators with it and Timmy gives everyone a chance to enjoy the concert again as it is moved to Fairy World. Shortly after, a muscular looking man arrives who looks shockingly similar to the prophecy's depiction of Timmy, announcing himself as Turbo Thunder, takes Timmy's guitar before he acclaims that he is the one to defeat the Darkness. As he discovers that he is too late, everyone just goes on to enjoy the concert (with Jorgen erasing their memories of the event after it was over). Just as Timmy looks confidently at the Big Dipper constellation in the sky, he feels like it is finally over only for all of the stars in the sky to vanish again the minute he and his God Parents turn around and walk off (not noticing the disappearance). This scene is a parody of the stars going out in the Doctor Who episode Turn Left.

Part 2: The Exciting Middle Part

As this segment begins, Timmy is basking in the glory of being the Chosen One. But it turns out that he wasn't such a hero after all, when it becomes clear that the Darkness has returned. Wanda convinced Timmy to go home because she believed his parents were worried sick about him. So she poofed him home, but Timmy wasn't happy about it and wanted to go back to Fairy World. Ironically, at that moment, Timmy's parents came home from a holiday and then asked him "Did we forget to bring you?". A couple of seconds later, they appeared to forget about it completely and went on another holiday, leaving him behind again. When The Darkness destroys Mark Chang's home planet Yugopatamia, Mark contacts him to help save the planet. Timmy and Mark fight to free Dimmsdale from the Eliminators, who have disguised themselves as Timmy's closest friends and family using stolen 'Fake-i-fiers' from Yugopatamia. Timmy manages to stop the Darkness and destroy the Eliminators by throwing various gifts, received from his fame, into the Darkness, including a boom box, some roller skates, and some cocktail weenies (which becomes a major plot device later on). The Eliminators survive, however, and absorb the items Timmy threw into the Darkness, gaining roller skates and singing "Get Timmy Turner" to funk music coming from boom boxes in their torsos (a reference to roller disco). After the Fairies are captured and locked up in Fairy World's greatest prison Abracatraz (a parody of Azkaban and taking its name from Alcatraz), Timmy and Mark team up with Timmy's enemies, Crocker, Vicky, and Dark Laser, before traveling to find the Blue Moon to locate the second wand by using crude methods like bribing Vicky with fake cash, dully admitting him having fairy godparents to Crocker and posting a embarrassing movie of Dark Laser, calling him "Fart Blazer", on Too Yube (a parody of YouTube).

Before they go, Dark Laser gives them a thermal refuge barrel, some blankets, his ex-wife's fur coat, and a set of earmuffs to put on and warm them which cause them to look similar to Star Wars characters: Timmy as Luke Skywalker, Mark as R2-D2, Crocker as Chewbacca (who he also makes noises like due to sinus trouble and possible allergies), Vicky as Princess Leia Organa, and Dark Laser as Darth Vader, who he already looked like. Along the way, they make a pit stop at a bar on Frigadaria (which is similar to and most likely a parody of Mos Eisley Cantina from A New Hope). Before the Eliminators attack and capture Vicky, Crocker and Dark Laser with ease (it reveals that whatever they threw at them and ended up being sucked up by the darkness automatically gets added to their arsenal, point proven when Timmy saw them shooting cocktail weenies at them after he had thrown them at the darkness previously), he destroys the Eliminators with his "Chosen One Death Grip". Turbo Thunder, the acclaimed real chosen one, shows up and lied to Timmy to make him reveal where the second wand was before taking off for it. To save their lives, Mark swallows Timmy whole and stows away on his ship before take off, though unknown and unseen by Turbo Thunder. They reach the Blue Moon and Mark regurgitates Timmy. Meanwhile, as the Fairies (Cosmo, Wanda, Poof and Jorgan) and Timmy's friends and family (Mr. and Mrs. Turner, Trixie, Chester, and AJ) get to know each other, they all band together to help Timmy as he has risked his life for them in previous adventures. By dumb luck and a few surprisingly fast learned kung fu moves, Poof defeats a group of Eliminator robots before he frees everyone from their prison cell and they manage to save Timmy's enemies as they are being carted off, still frozen in ice. Together, they use Jorgen's magic to warp to the Blue Moon as Timmy is just about to get the second wand and is revealed that he IS the true chosen one because he refused to fight the guardian of the second wand, a giant rock monster, while Turbo Thunder did, only to be flicked away, thus Timmy passed the test.

Timmy and Mark are ambushed by the Darkness and the Eliminators, who ensure that they will keep coming back in greater numbers than before. Even with Timmy's friends and family successfully driving the Eliminators back with a combined magical attack, their friendly reunion is cut short when the Darkness appears and tries to inhale everyone. But an even bigger concern is when Timmy tries to use the second wand to force the Darkness away, nothing happened. Timmy then realizes that this whole time, the Darkness wants him (it creepily moans his name). He then climbs the rope his friends and family made, where Trixie Tang admits her love for and kisses Timmy, before he willingly releases his grip on her and gets pulled into the Darkness. The Darkness leaves with Timmy while everyone is heartbroken at losing Timmy (Trixie even cried a little for Timmy's bravery and Vicky openly exclaims that she'd never call Timmy a "twerp" again, followed by Mark hitting on her). Jorgen and the others firmly decide that since Timmy sacrificed himself to save them, it was now THEIR turn to save him, before he stupidly created a rocket ship using magic and accidentally sending it flying away without anyone on board it first. This is the first Fairly Odd Parents episode or movie with a cliffhanger.

Part 3: The Final Ending

Timmy awakens inside of his own room again and begins a new day at school with everyone's memories of what happened at the Blue Moon of Vegan erased. However, this is not the real world. Timmy started to notice everyone acting weirdly and it eventually led him to discover that he was NOT in Dimmsdale, but still inside the Darkness. Cosmo, Wanda, Poof and Jorgen disguise themselves as Eliminators and enter the Darkness, bringing Timmy safely back to Earth (strangely, the Darkness kept Timmy close to its one weak point, its heart). The Darkness now wants Timmy safely back, but the Eliminator that first chased him (the future Destructinator) is still set on destroying Timmy when the Darkness does not want him destroyed. Even after he is destroyed and sent plummeting into the ocean on Earth, he magically reassembles himself and takes off to face Timmy. Back on the real Dimmsdale, Timmy reunites with his family and friends in the Timmy Cave beneath his house and they relay what has happened so far before the Eliminator returns. He not only absorbs Jorgen's wand and sends Timmy's friends and family into the Darkness, but pursues Timmy all the way to the Dimmsdale Mall. Cosmo, enraged that he openly attacked them, transforms into a giant Godzilla like creature named Coszilla, and, even though he had the advantage now, he stupidly made their magic wands vanish, causing him to then exclaim that this mistake could very well be his biggest blunder ever. But before he can finish Timmy, the Eliminator was targeted by a large assault from MERF, only he managed to absorb a high number of bombs and missiles (along with a giant kitchen sink Built In 1952 for a joke) fired at him, taking a massive change in appearance. With a massive power boost, the Eliminator uses its new found magical powers to completely solidify the Earth in a giant steel casing and change all the humans (the MERF group, to be more precise) into his robotic henchmen as Timmy and his fairies escape.

At this point, he now dons himself the Destructinator, the true antagonist of the Wishology trilogy. Timmy and his fairies return to the Blue Moon to retrieve the second wand and run into a weakened Turbo Thunder. He then reveals the true reason why the second wand did nothing when Timmy used it. Its true purpose was to "light the way", as the entire planet turned to face the sun and powered up the wand. It was then revealed that beneath the moon's surface was a hidden society lined to the brim with magic and it revealed the final part of the cave prophecy, where Timmy would have to find a third and final wand, hidden within the Earth's ice. Turbo Thunder reveals he was the original chosen one, picked by the Fairy Council (through auditions), but as stated before he was late and Timmy had to fill in, he apologises and admits that Timmy is the new chosen one. He also tells them he tried out to become the chosen one to take revenge on the Darkness because it destroyed his home world and took his family from him. Turbo Thunder tries to train Timmy, but Timmy is unable to keep up with his super powered teacher. Thus, Turbo Thunder transfers his powers to Timmy, who dubs himself "Turbo Timmy", knowing he was the only hope of stopping the Destructinator and the Darkness. The group returns to Fairy World and frees the fairies by giving them wands from the hidden ruins below the moon and fight back the remaining Eliminators, winning. Timmy then returns to Earth to face the Destructinator as the Darkness catches word that Timmy returned.

Timmy battles the Destructinator through space and finally leads him back to Earth where they crash land in the Arctic. The Destructinator planned to stuff the Earth full of bombs and missiles so that when the Darkness sucked it up, it would unleash a giant explosion, killing both it and Timmy. However, Timmy managed to snatch the self destruction device from Destructinator and uses the robot's thirst for power to trick him into absorbing all the bombs he planted inside the planet. He then detonates the bombs, destroying the Destructinator once and for all. The massive explosion also melts the ice and reveals the third and final wand (although the guardian, a talking polar bear, made it appear after Timmy blew up most of the ice). Now, with Jorgen, his fairies, Turbo Thunder, Juandissimo and Cupid standing at his side, Timmy must now fulfill the prophecy and defeat the Darkness. But just then, he realizes something. When the Darkness appeared before Turbo Thunder's world and Fairy World, it was first attacked by the inhabitants of the world before it attacked them. All the Darkness ever wanted was a friend, but, looking as terrifing as it did, everyone always thought it was evil. With the powers of the Fire Wand (the guitar), the Wind Wand (the wand on the Blue Moon) and the Ice Wand (found buried under the North Pole's icy layer), he uses his fairies magic to poof up more ice wands on every other planet, creating a giant smiling face of light when he activated the wand's powers and unleashed a powerful beam of light into the Darkness. After that, the Darkness has now become the Kindness (While Cosmo Calls It The Yellowness) and returns all of Timmy's captured friends and family, along with Mark and Turbo Thunder's parents. They celebrate with another KISS concert in Fairy World when KISS and the ancient fairy counselors surprisingly appear after Timmy defeated the Darkness. During the concert, Timmy and Trixie attempt to kiss, but Jorgen interrupts them and tells Timmy that he's erasing everyone's memories after the concert. Timmy figured that would happen, but was relieved he wouldn't have to find anymore wands. But in the Cave of Destiny, as the prophecy showed Timmy with all three wands, a red fourth wand appeared. But, it's revealed that Cosmo drew it with a red crayon before saying "Just kidding!" and ending up crushed by a rock after getting brain freeze from an ice cream sandwich, ending the Wishology trilogy story.

Cast

  • (^)- indicates a "Part 1: The Big Beginning" role
  • (*)- indicates a "Part 2: The Exciting Middle Part" role
  • (**)- indicates a "Part 3: The Final Ending" Part role
  • (^^)- indicates a role in all three movies

Trivia

  • At the end of Part 1, every star in the sky disappeared once again as a sign the Darkness would soon return. But, in Part 2, after Timmy declared he didn't know where the Blue Moon was, there was a zoom-out of the galaxy, and all the stars were in there.
  • Since Part 1, the first Eliminator that chased after Timmy can be easily identified from the others since he continues to wear a black leather jacket and shades (the first time he stole them from a display in the Dimmsdale Mall, he already seems to have them in Part 2 and he gets new ones after robbing a passing biker in Part 3 after sent crashing in a lake on Earth after the Darkness "unmade" him). This is likely a reference to the original Terminator.
  • When he's flicked out of the star crater by the rock guardian, Turbo Thunder's armor is shattered and he continues on without it until he begins training Timmy with no explanation for how he regained it, though it is possible Timmy wished his armor back offscreen.
  • In Part 1, Timmy picks up the magic muffin from the first movie Abra-Catastrophe and puts it down saying "No, Not that one".
  • In Part 2 when Timmy is demonstrating The Chosen One videogame the main Eliminator (that would become the Destructinator in Part 3) absorbs him but something backfires causing him to explode in a manner similar to Agent Smith's demise in The Matrix Revolutions.
  • In Part 2, Timmy's video game is a likely reference to the game Guitar Hero.
  • The Black M.E.R.F. agents is almost identical to one of the Guys in White of Danny Phantom.
  • Timmy, Wanda, Cosmo, and Turbo Thunder knew that the Eliminator was called the Destructinator but they weren't there to hear him say that.
  • Even though it was stated that the Darkness never attacked anyone unless provoked, in Part 2 Yugopatamia was invaded without any warning. But to Yugopatamians good is bad and mean is nice, so maybe it adapts.
  • Kiss performs the song Rock and Roll All Nite, the first time that a real world song has been heard in a "Fairly OddParents" project.
  • In Part 2, when Timmy freaks out, it is an exact parody of when Bugs Bunny freaks out the first time he lands on the moon in Haredevil Hare, and when Bugs freaks out when he sees Gossamer right behind him in Hair-Raising Hare.
  • In Part 2 Poof is seen with no teeth however when Cosmo throws Poof to the lock he chomps it off with his teeth

Movie Parodies

  • Star Wars- The whole end of the 2nd part with Crocker as Chewbacca, Dark Laser as Darth Vader, Vicky as Princess Leia, Mark as R2-D2, And Timmy as Luke Skywalker. Dark Laser makes a reference to use the force, but instead says use the forks. Vicky begins to say "May the forks be with you", before she is frozen. Also, a Star Wars related opening begins Part 3 when Cosmo narrates what happened in Part 2 (though ending it very shortly since that was all he had) Also in Part 3, Timmy uses the fake Cosmo and Wanda as lightsabers. Then also in Part 3 when Timmy is talking to Turbo Thunder, Turbo Thunder says "Timmy, I am-" and then Timmy says "Whoa, you're not going to cut off my arm and tell me you're my father are you?" (possibly remembering how Cosmo did it in Abracatastrophe). Also, Timmy is referred to as "The Chosen One", just like Anakin Skywalker was.
  • Lord of the Rings - His second Trilogy wish.
  • Apocalypse Now-The Destructinator rise from the lake is similar to the protagonist rising from the lake
  • Star Trek-In Part 3 Timmy asks AJ for a status report is similar to Kirk asking for its status
  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone- His third trilogy wish.
  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- The Abracatraz Prison is a mix of Alcatraz and Azkaban
  • The Matrix- His first trilogy wish. A.J is also dressed up as Morpheus and Mr. Crocker is a spoof of an Agent Smith.
  • The Terminator- The main Eliminator with the leather jacket./Eliminator
  • Terminator 2- How he grabs the jacket off the biker is a reference to how the T-800 had got his clothes and his gun from a biker.
  • Batman When Timmy goes to the "Timmy-Cave" and gets onto the "Turner-Cycle"
  • Terminator Salvation- Timmy is dressed up as John Connor for a brief part.
  • Men in Black- The M.E.R.F. agents.
  • Back to the Future- The chase scene between Timmy, Jorgen and the Eliminator, when Jorgans pink motorcycle lays down a trail of fire and teleports. The scene of Timmy sneaking on stage to get the white wand guitar
  • Cast Away- Turbo Thunder's story about how he survived on the blue moon with the rock taking place of Wilson.
  • Superman- Turbo Thunders Origin story.
  • Godzilla- Cosmo transforming into a giant dragon called Coszilla.
  • Transformers- Some of the Eliminators transform, the Darkness acts like Unicron, Timmy's fairy parents and brother, Jorgen, his friends and his parents use Mark's shapeshifting belts and they're like the Autobots, the 3 wands are like the Matrix of Leadership, Timmy acts like Optimus Prime, Hot Rod, and the Destructinator acts like Galvatron, the Eliminators are like the Decepticons.
  • Space Balls
  • Wizard Of Oz- The Eliminator got crash by a rocket and fold his arms. Also Chester said his house was carried away by a twister.
  • Mad Max
  • The Neverending Story- The guardian of the second wand is reminiscent of Rock Biter, especially when 'The Darkness', similar to 'The Nothing' (the void that threatens to destroy everything.) comes to swallow them all.
  • Kangaroo Jack- When Mark changes into "Changaroo" to save Timmy from the Eliminators.
  • The Blues Brothers Timmy constantly saying he's "the chosen one" in order to get out of trouble, but nobody cares except his fairy parents and brother. This is likely a reference to the Blues Brothers, in which Elwood Blues constantly says that he's "on a mission from God" in attempt to get him and his brother, "Joliet" Jake Blues, out of trouble.
  • Twitches - The Darkness.
  • Doctor Who - At the end of Part 1, the stars disappear, just as in the episode Turn Left. The portal Timmy and the fairies travel through to escape the Darkness is a possible reference to the Doctor Who opening titles, most notably the time vortex imagery.
  • The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad- The scene in part three in which Vicky throws her flaming pumpkin head at Timmy slightly parodies the semi-climactic scene in which the Headless Horseman throws his flaming pumpkin head at Ichabod Crane.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest- Timmy sacrifices himself to be swallowed by the Darkness is similar to Jack Sparrows' sacrifice with the Kraken.
  • Conan the Barbarian (film)- In Part 3 the faries in Fairy World are forced to push a large wheel similar to the Wheel of Doom.
  • History of the World: Part 1- Timmy says "It’s good to be the chosen one" Similar to what Mel Brooks character says during History of the world: Part 1 "It’s good to be king"
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-The Eliminators finding Timmy every time someone says his name could be considered where Deatheaters would find Harry, Ron, and Hermione if any one of them uttered Voldemort's name.
  • Raiders of the Lost Ark- When Timmy is about to be pulled into the Eliminator's vortex, Jorgen pulls him out with a whip. Also in part 3. Turbo Thunder uses Timmy's teeth like the staff from Raiders.
  • The Iron Giant- The Main Eliminator repairs itself after it has been destroyed in part 2.
  • The Shining- When Lord Moldywart(Vicky) says Here's Moldy which is a reference to " Here's Johnny"
  • WALL-E- The mars rover that ran over Jorgen's foot in part 3 (which Jorgen subsequently destroys) looks like WALL-E.
  • Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - The darkness greatly resembles the version of Galactus from the film.

Continuity

  • During Part 1, as Timmy claims that he's had weirder mornings, he picks up a Magic Fairyversery Muffin (the main center point to the whole chaos in the first Fairly Odd Parents movie Abracatastrope) before setting it back down, saying "No, not that one." , indicating he remembered what happened with it the first time. Why another one would appear in this movie is unknown, though it might merely be a reference gag (Strangely enough, at the end of Abracatastrophe, he ate the rest of the muffin and wishes the world back to normal). (Possible Explanation: Timmy got the first Muffin for his Fairyversery, its very possible that a Godchild gets one muffin per Fairyversery, due to the rarity of holding on to Godparents for that long...)
  • This is the second Fairly Odd Parents movie that has Cosmo and Wanda's secret being exposed to Timmy's parents while this is the first time Timmy's friends meet them (Chester met them before in Fairy Idol but this is a retcon since Chester used his last wish from Norm's lamp to revert everything back to it was before he ever met Norm.) This is also the third time Crocker has seen Jorgen (The Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour and Abracatastrophe, both end with him losing his memories of Jorgen due to either magic or a severe injury), the fourth time he has seen Cosmo and Wanda (but in the episode "Pipe Down" he could not say anything due to Timmy's wish of no sound, also when he was fused together with cheese and captured them) but this is the second time he's seen Poof (the first was Cheese and Crockers). This is also the first time Trixie has ever met Timmy's fairies.
  • During Part 3, in the scene where the fairies look for the Ice Wand, Wanda looks for it in a van being driven by Vanilla Ice who was one of Cosmo and Wanda's godkids (as seen in "Hassle in the Castle.")
  • Even though Chester and A.J. appear in all three parts and only start playing more important roles since Part 2, Elmer and Sanjay also appeared in Part 1 but never appeared thereafter.
  • Wishology is the second Fairly OddParents special where Poof is an important character. His first important role was his debut in Fairly Odd Baby.
  • The Destructinator is the first person (rather non-human being) in Fairly Odd Parents history to be able to wish for devices without the need for a magical fairy or being of any kind (Chester and Timmy once made wishes from Norm the Genie) since he swallowed up Jorgen's wand in Part 3 and gained his own from it, though it was a pitch black star instead of yellow.
  • This is the first time Timmy has made a wish for Trixie, after she non-casually was asking for a unicorn. Strangely, this is the only time he made wishes when his family and friends were nearby, likely because they knew he had fairies.
  • This is the first time Dark Laser, A.J. and Mark played important roles in a Fairly Odd Parents special while this is where some of Timmy's other friends and enemies had important roles again, like Timmy's parents ("Abracatastrophe" and "Channel Chasers"), Crocker ("Abracatastrophe"), Chester ("Fairy Idol"), Trixie ("Information Stupor Highway") and Vicky ("Channel Chasers"). One can wonder if the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour trilogy can also be counted for Chester and A.J. had larger roles in the third special, and they both saw Cosmo and Wanda too (though Jorgen probably erased their memory of fairies including the minds of Jimmy Neutron and friends, though Nicktoons Unite! game series might have proved otherwise. Jimmy and friends met Timmy through a wish so its possible they're excluded because of it or because Timmy managed to trick Jimmy into believing they were "fairy computer programs" to him.)
  • When comparing the enemies Timmy has encountered throughout his life, the Destructinator might be the most evil enemy Timmy faced and the closest to actually try to kill him.
  • In Part 3, Jorgen calls the Destructinator "The Jerkinator", a reference to the final subtitle of the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour trilogy.
  • While this isn't the first time Trixie and Timmy might have kissed (except it is on the lips), this is the first time Trixie and Timmy kiss without any magical influence before or after(save for her debut episode, "A Wish Too Far"), coming from their feelings for each other (Trixie's feelings for Timmy are proven when they meet again on the blue moon and she tells Timmy that she admires Timmy's "brave and magical" side of him and she also cried after Timmy was sucked up by the Darkness). And with Jorgen saying he was going to erase everyone's memories of the event at the end of Part 3, Jorgen might be breaking the rules since it's against the rules to interfere with true love, something Timmy and Trixie probably had during all of Part 3 since she willingly tries to kiss him each time they met. But this could be explained since he's capable of altering Da Rules, or that Trixie is faking interest to get more free wishes, in which case it wouldn't break Da Rules.
  • This is probably the first special where Jorgen has shown his softer and more friendly personality towards Timmy the longest, which lasts throughout the entire trilogy, whereas Jorgen usually is more sarcastic and annoyed by Timmy.
  • This is the second time that the fairy talk show star, Billy Crystal Ball (first seen in "This Is Your Wish") appears. However, his eyes and hair are a different color but fans can recognize him as the same Billy Crystal Ball because of his voice. He only appeared in Part 2 when Wanda magically poofed him to his new set, the Billy Crystal Ball show set, after attending the statue unveiling at Fairy World City Hall.
  • This special is the second time Juandisimo and Cupid appear together, like partners. They first appeared in the Fairy Olympics special. Also, Cupid is the only holiday representative, Valentine's Day, to appear in a Fairly Odd Parents special after his appearance and the first Fairly Odd Christmas special.
  • At the end, some of the people that appeared in one or two scenes came back. This is like Blue's Clues.
  • The MERF agents, all voiced by Patrick Warburton, are the second characters to be voiced by the same person. The first was the Pixies, Head Pixie, and Sanderson, who are all voiced by Ben Stein.

Goofs

  • It is not shown that Uranus and Saturn received ice wands. Pluto did not either likely due to the fact that Cosmo blew it up in a previous episode (or because in 2006, it was no longer a planet). Though this could be explained as for lack of time, since the script for the movie states that Binky and Cupid create the respective wands.
  • At the end of the whole movie, an Eliminator coughed up TT's parents. But in the story that TT told, one took his mother and one took his father. An explanation could be that no matter what Eliminator sucked them up, they can return from a different one since they all end up in the same place, the Darkness.
  • A laser hit a stereo and it didn't break. The same kind of laser hit the same stereo and it broke. Although the first laser could have weakened it.
  • When Coszilla made 1 million wands disappear, he wouldn't make the tail and Wanda's wand disappear because there were 1 million wands on his back.
  • Timmy accidentally kissed Mark once but Mark didn't have his Fake-a-fier malfunction. Also, he didn't feel any pain when he hugged Timmy. Last time it happened, Mark's skin was burned by Timmy's hug. Maybe since this was Mark hugging Timmy that was the difference.

References

  • At Abracatraz, a reference to Alcatraz, the sign in front says "Abandon all hope, all ye who enter here." An obvious reference to Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, more specifically the Inferno.
  • When Moldywart/Vicky said, "Here's Moldy!" it was a reference to The Shining.
