Kourtney Mary Kardashian (born April 18, 1979) is an American celebutante, socialite, model, businesswoman, and television personality. She is best known for her appearances on the reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
Early life
Kourtney Kardashian was born in Los Angeles and is the oldest child of attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner (née Houghton). She is of Armenian (father) and Dutch-Scottish American (mother) descent.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).
Kardashian attended the Roman Catholic all-girls school Marymount High School. Following graduation, she left California to move to Dallas where she attended Southern Methodist University for two years. She then moved to Tucson, Arizona and attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Spanish. Her classmates included Nicole Richie, Heather Blair, and Luke Walton.[1]
Kourtney has four sisters, (from oldest to youngest) Kim, Khloé, Kendall Jenner(half-sister), and Kylie Jenner (half-sister). She has one brother, Rob Kardashian. Kourtney also has three stepbrothers, (from oldest to youngest) Burt Jenner, Brandon Jenner and Brody Jenner. She also has one stepsister, Casey Jenner.
Personal life
Kourtney and her mother opened up children's clothing boutiques in both the Los Angeles area (818) and New York City, called "Smooch", which carries the brand "Crib Rock Couture". As seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney co-owns and operates D-A-S-H, a clothing boutique in Los Angeles and Miami (opened early 2009), with sisters Kim and Khloé.[1] She and Khloé starred in their own reality show, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami which highlighted their single lives in a new city and their opening of D-A-S-H in Miami.
Kourtney also starred in reality show, "Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive" (2005) to earn money for charity.
Kourtney has a son, Mason Dash Disick, born December 14, 2009 who weighed in at 7lbs 6oz.[2] with boyfriend Scott Disick.
