Brandon Soo Hoo did attend my middle school, I am serious. You may go on Google to double check, but you can ask him in real life. I live in Temple City, and he is my friend. If you dont believe me, he only adds close friends on Facebook and I am one of them. You can't assume that I am lying until you have checked whether I lied or not. Just because I've put many pages that are said to be "inappropriate" doesn't mean that when I post real facts, I can get banned. I just wanted the page to have my school on it because he really went there, so did his sister brittney soo hoo . I don't know what your problem is, but if I'm telling the truth, deal with it, the right way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LEEYOOHEE (talkcontribs) 07:49, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated vandalism to Gaspar de Portolà article

Hi, I've noticed you are not following Wikipedia's conventions by continually editing back Gaspar de Portolà's article, which should show it's real nationality and not a non-existent one. I've tried to discuss with you the changes in the discussion page of the article, but you have keep abusing of your powers, so I'm very sorry to tell you that I've asked for an administrator intervention and a cancellation of your roll-back powers. Yours faithfully --84.126.10.233 (talk) 22:21, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. I see your agenda now. Your comment on my Talk page make it clear that you're a Spanish nationalist who doesn't believe that anybody born in Catalonia could possibly be Catalan. The people who live in Catalonia seem to disagree with you. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 22:22, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Actually, your comment shows your agenda and prove that your changes are based in your political believes, not in facts. Thanks for giving me a further prove. All yours and best regards. --84.126.10.233 (talk) 22:25, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have no agenda. I don't care if Portola is Spanish or Catalan, all I'm trying to do is to prevent edit warriors such as yourself from putting their particular POVs on Wikipedia articles. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 22:26, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, 1st, you showed you care enough to NOT follow wikipedia conventions. Second, I edited the article followin the maxima "Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia anyone can edit" and I did it to make the article follow the conventions that are seen in any other army officer article. I do not know if the Spanish Army is so special that needs officers like Portola be presented diferently from, let's say, an U.S. Army or French Army officer. And third, by not following wikipedia's conventions, you put YOUR particular POV on a wikipedia article. Looking to hear forward from you --84.126.10.233 (talk) 22:33, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Media Matters edits

Edit summaries did give reasons for edits, and my MM Talk posting notes them again. Please have a look at them before making bulk reverts. Mr Anon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.228.156.201 (talk) 20:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very aware, thank you. It might help if you held the trigger and looked at the edit summaries and MM Talk more carefully. The edits are indeed in good faith and well-explained. Mr Anon

The IP you reverted.

Perhaps you can help me keep an eye on them. All their edits have been to promote the POV of the Zeitgeist Movement, and I suspect some kind of conflict of interest. They've also created an article, which seems to have been copied and pasted directly from a Zeitgeist website. Zazaban (talk) 06:28, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dealing with Talk:Labshare

Hi, note that the page is subject to vandalism from what appears to be a regular troll (see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/ID908237835). It is probably easier to not engage the latest Single-purpose account in discussion, it might then have been possible to revert all his/her contributions as vandalism. I suggest you let them have their rant and if not reverted within a few hours by one of the admins monitoring the page, then you can report any libellous comments or legal threats to WP:ANI in line with WP:NLT. Regarding Yvonne Thornton biography: As the subject, I did not initiate this biography. I did not write it so it is not an autobiography. I don't know who did. However, in reading the post, there were many edits to correct errors in accuracy, i.e. my birthplace and academic degrees. The substance has not been changed. Therefore, I would appreciate your specific concerns particularly about a conflict of interest because I didn't write this biography. I corrected it. Yvonne S. Ephren Taylor

None of Ephren taylors material is sourced, but you do not edit his page after he edits it himself to continue his fraud. You did the same thing with 2 other fraudsters, and you cost investors millions due to your failure to allow the truth to be posted. All of Ephren taylors links are either to non functioning sites or sites that are unrelated to the matter at hand entirely. His claims are wilding fictitious, can anyone just post lies about themselves? Look for yourself his company is on pinksheets, the SEC listed his company in a list of co.s to be probed, what more do you want. Their SEC filings show their company does nothing but collect appearance fees. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.103.155.162 (talk) 01:37, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

==

People find him on wikipedia to confirm his legitimacy. Based off of the misleading and grossly incorrect information you allow himself to post on his own behalf, investors (more like poor retirees with maybe 50000 to their name) send him their money as he approaches them through churches and uses faith to leverage their belief in him, along with wikipedia. YOU ARE AIDING AND ABETTING. EITHER TAKE THE PAGE DOWN ALL TOGETHER OR SLEEP WITH YOURSELF KNOWING PEOPLE WILL BECOME HOMELESS BECAUSE OF YOUR FAILURE TO ACT TO STOP IS LIES. LOOK HIM UP ON PINKSHEETS AND RIPOFFREPORT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.103.155.162 (talk) 01:44, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Several Obama articles, including Barack Obama citizenship conspiracy theories, are under probation. Any edit warring on that article will get you blocked. Take your suggest edits to the article's Talk page and get consensus there before making major edits like that. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 01:54, 5 September 2010 (UsC)

There is a consensus on this. I suggest you read the talk pages before posting edits like that.John2510 (talk) 02:13, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Really? Considering the consensus is that the article retain that name, where is the consensus on the talk page to remove the discussion of the article's title? Everard Proudfoot (talk) 02:14, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There's no consensus for the article to retain the name (which is a non-existent Phoneomenon) and certainly no consensus regarding the description. John2510 (talk) 02:21, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Talk:Barack_Obama_citizenship_conspiracy_theories#Consensus_for_an_edit.3F. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 02:21, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Have you read Q1 of the FAQ at the top of the article's Talk page? Everard Proudfoot (talk) 02:22, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

I've seen it. It doesn't relate to my edit. Also, it's contrary to wp:npov and was originated by an account called "Dems on the Move." It was drafted by a political party specific acount. While labeled a "FAQ" it means nothing... other than an attempt to describe clear political bias as Wikipedia policy. It's just plain vile. Linda McMahon

I'm not sure where the 3RR warning came from, as I'm nowhere near this. User Screwball23 has, however, issued multiple reversions not only against my edits, but edits by users Collect and Off2riorob as well. If you examine the history of the article more closely, you can easily verify this. Furthermore, much of the material I am removing is due to BLP concerns. Fell Gleamingtalk 02:16, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious why you believe I'm involved in an edit war. I've made a large number of edits to this article, but since the 3rd, I've only reverted a single edit of Screwballs, or anyone else's, and when he reverted it out for the second time, I left it alone. How is this edit warring? Screwball, on the other hand, has made several reversions, coupling them with abusive language and accusations. Fell Gleamingtalk 02:37, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
User Screwball23 is continuing to revert out edits after your warning. All of his edits are reversions of recent changes to the article. Fell Gleamingtalk 03:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Further, he is continuing to reinsert unsourced contentious material into a BLP. As example, this text was just reinserted: "After he filed for unemployment, Linda McMahon repeatedly challenged him at unemployment hearings with a company lawyer. Cole successfully received unemployment benefits from the company until 1995.", sourcing it to a Politico story at [1]. The claim is nowhere in the source. I just cleaned out a large number of such unsourced or distorted claims from the article, as per BLP policy. Now they're all coming back. Fell Gleamingtalk 03:08, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I've stopped editing of this article of respect. User Screwball23, however, is continuing to edit war with other editors, having performed eight more revisions to the article since you issued a 3RR warning, many edits of which myself and other editors believe contain BLP violations. Do you think the article would be better as a table? I've used some tables in other district articles: see Humble Independent School District (the pilot) for how I took on an AfD of Humble ISD's middle schools (prior to that, the article was a list). I was so satisfied (so was one of the people that voted in the AfD) that I extended the table to the high schools. This actually adds information and I believe makes parent articles more indicative of their child articles' contents (for HS) and sometimes adds content (for MS). The Peoria list is actually entirely composed of the exact type of information that I put in the "Humble table" format – feeder schools, principal, school colors and mascot, enrollment, history, athletic conference, etc. Raymie (tc) 04:34, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think I hit the wrong button or something, i.e. for my own page. Anyway, I think this is the correct way to correspond. I didn't initiate the biography, I just wanted to correct errors in the text and it was not meant to be deliberate or self-serving, just for accuracy. If I didn't do it correctly, or it triggered something, I apologize, but what happens now? Is there a panel who authenticates the information? What do I need to do now? List of names

I saw your comments on the Biography project's talk page. Really, it isn't a matter of the Project's opinion one way or another, it is a matter of wikipedia policies and guidelines. So far as I remember, lists of people from a city, alumni of a school, etc. are generally considered perfectly acceptable provided that they do not take up a disproportionate amount of space and attention in the article. If you had a more specific indication of which articles in question you are concerned with, that would be helpful. John Carter (talk) 16:25, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
