The Blanchard Valley Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association affiliated athletic league located in Hancock, Hardin, and Putnam Counties in northwest Ohio. Its name derives from the Blanchard River, which runs through the area in which the schools are located. Findlay, which is part of the Greater Buckeye Conference,Riverdale High School,of the Northwest Centeral Conference ,and Fostoria St. Wendelin, which is part of the Midland Athletic League in all sports but football and a member of Northwest Central Conference in football, are the only high schools in Hancock County that are members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association that are not part of the BVC.

Currently The BVC board is discussing on changing members of the conference. The BVC has considered adding two more schools and splitting into two divisions. There's also been rumors about Findlay-Liberty Benton leaving the conference, which has been talked about for years because of their enrollment figures.
