Martha, also known as The Martha Stewart Show, is an American, weekday one-hour how-to show hosted by Martha Stewart. The program debuted on September 11, 2005 in syndication, primarily on NBC stations. At the end of its fifth season, Martha moved to cable and began airing exclusively on Hallmark Channel on September 13, 2010. There it remained for two additional seasons, before it was cancelled in early 2012 with the final episode airing on May 11, 2012.[2][3]

Synopsis

Each episode includes several segments related to cooking, crafts, gardening, interior design and other topics related to arts and crafts. The program also features celebrity guests.

Production and distribution

The program is taped before a studio audience at the Chelsea Studios in New York City, New York, weekdays at 10 a.m. Eastern time (15 UTC).

It was distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution in a partnership with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

The syndicated version aired Monday through Friday at various times throughout broadcasting markets and previously aired on Fine Living Network until it became Cooking Channel.

The Hallmark Channel version aired Monday – Friday at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
