Hello and welcome to my talk page. Please leave your messages at the bottom of this page.

Welcome!

Hello, Deejawwad, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Template.PKRConvert, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Tea House, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Jinkinson talk to me 14:15, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Template.PKRConvert

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Template.PKRConvert. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Template:PKRConvert. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Template:PKRConvert – you might like to discuss new information at [[Talk:Template:PKRConvert|the article's talk page]].

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Jinkinson talk to me 14:15, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Waar does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! KrakatoaKatie 08:24, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your concern. Well, since I'm a new wikipedian, I'm not much familiar with the rules and regulations but I'm learning a lot from experienced users like you. Next time I'll provide summaries as you recommended. Regards!Deejawwad (talk)

Ways to improve Sahir Ali Bagga

Hi, I'm Makro. Deejawwad, thanks for creating Sahir Ali Bagga!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. The persons own website can not be used as reliable for a reference.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Makro (talk) 16:04, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work. Don't forget sources! bobrayner (talk) 00:43, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Makro, I've removed his personal website link and added a reliable source instead. I hope the main issue is fixed now.
Thank you Bobrayner for your support! Deejawwad Talk 07:06, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Footprint Entertainment

Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Your only reference is to the company itself, obviously not independent. I'm also unclear what facts you are giving to show it is notable.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: premiere film distribution company... leading content provider... representing the top international producers... distribution arrangements with major Hollywood studios— it's a press release, not an encyclopaedia article
  • it's all spam about what the company does, little about the company itself. How many employees? Turnover? Profits? Has the company ever received negative publicity? Who are its competitors?

I've also edited Sahir Ali Bagga to make it less of a fansite Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:36, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jimfbleak, I just recently came across the fact that the reference must be independent. I didn't know about that when I was creating the page. Thanks for providing additional knowledge and rectifying Sahir Ali Bagga. Regards! Deejawwad Talk 07:45, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Sahir Ali Bagga.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sahir Ali Bagga.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:19, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Choorian (1998 film) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | producer = Umer shahbaz] Ch. <br>Shahbaz Ali Alias Ch. Karamat

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 13:15, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jawad,

thanks for the tag but I need help to improve those articles, would you be able to assist please? thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Heela1989 (talkcontribs) 16:18, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Note that this editor has also created GNH Films Production (Bhutan)2012 (twice, it was deleted once already) as well as removing the userspace template from his autobiography on his userpage. And of course he is a considerable COI. So far as I can see he simply doesn't understand he shouldn't be using Wikiipedia for promotion. Dougweller (talk) 16:17, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The user's been temporarily blocked. A sigh of relief! Jawwad Durrani Talk to me 17:18, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly, probably the only solution. Dougweller (talk) 19:08, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Marking as nonsense

You marked Adão Gaspar Ferreira do Nascimento as "nonsense" (WP:CSD#G1), when the article is clearly comprehensible. It is clearly not an appropriate Wikipedia article, but not for the reason you have stated. Please be careful when tagging pages for deletion to use the proper category. Thanks for your guidance. I'll keep that in mind in future. Jawwad Durrani Talk to me 18:04, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Heligonka

Hello Deejawwad, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Heligonka, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: This article is about a music instrument, which does not fall under A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. —Darkwind (talk) 23:17, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Deejawwad. This is not an "A1: Articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article" speedy deletion candidate. Did you mean to add "A7: No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events)"? Peter in Australia aka --Shirt58 (talk) 11:00, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Accept my apologies! Sometimes I make stupid mistakes when drunk. Jawwad Durrani Talk to me 12:06, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

Hi, thanks for your edits. I just made the GLAM page live and I need that page up to support the tab structure of that page so please leave up! Thanks OR drohowa (talk) 16:15, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of creating an article to carry out experiments, you may try sandbox, which allows you to carry out experiments. you can create your own sandbox in your userspace. You can find your user sandbox here. (And if it doesn't exist yet, feel free to create it!). Thanks! Jawwad Durrani Talk to me 16:33, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
