Vague

this good It is unclear from the article whether or not porn is a primary/major use of vine (other than the raising of the age to 17)-- If there was a recent article that could be cited to that could clarify this that would help. jj (talk) 16:42, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ytmnd

This concept was clearly descended from YTMND, should any credit be given? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.255.10.212 (talk) 16:22, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why, do you think YTMND is the original creator of this concept? As long as there is no proof that Vine was inspired by someone else, it should not be mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.94.242.236 (talk) 10:10, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Incompatible with Firefox

that shound be mentioned in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.205.253.49 (talk) 19:44, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

6, 6.5, 7 seconds

Just to end the edit war over "6" vs "7" seconds, I've added a source explaining the expansion in recording time from exactly six seconds to six plus one-half second after button release, and the "7" apparent length displayed in the camera roll. So, rounding down, it's still "six" seconds, but the app developers rounded up in the app, more's the pity. --Lexein (talk) 21:59, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Error in article, cannot edit because locked

"In a BBC review..." The sentence is ungrammatical. Look at the verb "notes". Who notes? It doesn't connect to anything. 86.159.197.48 (talk) 01:11, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thx. In future, feel free to use {{edit protected}} - that way more editors will see the request. --Lexein (talk) 23:58, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

vinemash.co is not related to vine.co, as far as I can tell, and so should not be included in External Links. --Lexein (talk) 19:17, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The only content creator mentioned is Eric Dunn, and it feels like way too much space has been devoted to one content creator in an otherwise small article. I don't know if this section even needs to be there in the article. --TheRaytracer 19:19, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it definitely needs to go. Dunn's not even in the top ten by followers. 77.91.249.123 (talk) 14:18, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move

Vine (software)Vine (video-sharing service) – No longer just an app, but also a full-fledged website and community.Relisted Calidum Talk To Me 23:04, 22 May 2014 (UTC) Mark Schierbecker (talk) 09:03, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Software seems to work? Red Slash 01:00, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's the way I'm leaning. Mark Schierbecker (talk) 23:28, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure since the title could imply to a person unfamiliar with the content that the article is about a video titled vine. Maybe vine (application) would be best.--70.49.80.26 (talk) 00:53, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
