Chalus (Template:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Chālūs, Chaloos, Chalousse and Chalous)[1] is a city in and the capital of Chalus County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 44,618, in 12,791 families.[2]
Location
Chalus's neighbour counties are Noshahr in the east, Tonekabon in the west in Mazandaran province and Tehran province in the south. Chalus is the capital of Chalus Country in Mazandaran Province.
