Mastana Mahi is a Pakistani telenovela broadcast by Hum TV. Airing on Thursdays, the telenovela premiered on 26 May 2011 and ended its run on 15 September 2011. It stars actors Fahad Mustafa, Mehreen Raheel and Sajal Ali in the lead roles. The story is about the complex friendship between an expat girl romantically involved with a man her fathers age and a politician's son who is forced to marry a child bride which gradually turns into love. However this relationship is tested badly by time and relationship of those around them. The drama elaborates on the notion 'love is a fleeting emotion' and that foundation of true love based on friendship can lack stability if trust is shaken. The OST of drama is sung by Sohail Haider. Mastana Mahi was also broadcast in India by Zindagi premiering on 6 November 2014.[1]
