Kapoor & Sons is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film stars Siddharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt in leading roles.[1] [2] The official trailer was out on February 10, 2016 and the film is scheduled for release on March 18, 2016.

Production
In earlier 2015, Karan Johar announced his next film which will be titled "Kapoor & Sons" which will feature Alia Bhatt as the lead actress, with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. Johar said in an interview "We have a very stylish star cast".The movie revolves around two brothers played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. Rishi Kapoor will be playing grandfather of the male leads.[3][4] As well as Sanjay Dutt and Amrita Puri will be casting in this movie. The first poster of the film was unveiled on 3 February 2016 after releasing the look of Rishi Kapoor from the movie.[5]
Music
The music for the film is composed by Amaal Mallik, Badshah, Fazilpuria, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Nucleya, Benny Dayal and Tanishk Bagchi. The background score is given by Sameer Uddin. The lyrics are penned by Badshah, Kumaar, Manoj Muntashir, Dr. Devendra Kafir and Abhiruchi Chand. Sony Music India have acquired the music rights of the film.
