I personally don't think it's any vandalism at all. It's just giving a private message that the plot summary should be where it requires. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 18:48, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jalen Ramsey, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:20, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's OK now. A reference has been added for the article. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 20:29, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Block

I've blocked you for 31 hours for disruptive editing. See WP:GAB for how to appeal this block.

Regardless of your motives, I have just spent some time cleaning up after you. I've deleted talk pages and rolled back your edits to talk and user pages. You are not an administrator. You cannot issue block notices or even quasi block notices to other user. You also should not be tagging users as socks or confirmed socks or whatever. If you promise to stop doing anything like this again, I will unblock you.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:46, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Request reason:

Forgive me Bbb23. It was my fault. I should not even pose as an administrator or mini-op any sort of user on the site. I promise deep in my heart, that I would never want to do this ever again. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 22:49, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Fine. I'll take you at your word, but any repeat of this behavior will result in a much longer block. I've unblocked you. Bbb23 (talk) 22:55, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Emmanuel Ogbah. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:45, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What are you? Human or bot? You got quite some security sightreading I must assume. The source has already been added to the article so it's fine now. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 12:29, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Forgive me again Bbb123. I'm on the wrong road once again. I shouldn't have done it again, but I actually have. I'll admit this for once. I've been touring so many list of sock puppet and banned user pages trying to put up the proper notices, but only admins or other users with specific rights can do that. I guess I wasn't up to the task after all. I should've only focused on the real articles, but now that I know that no one can really edit userpages, I think I'll stop doing the wrong thing like this for good. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 14:01, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Virtually none of your recent changes are sourced. Please be sure to add references ASAP, because if you submit more unsourced content, you will be blocked again for disruptive editing. You also need to double-check your submissions for grammar and spelling errors like here and here. I also can't help but notice that the reference you added here has a title that is not consistent with the article's title, and the content "15 games with 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks" is not supported by article prose. NFL player position changes and WP:OR

Hello, anonymous editor. You've probably noticed that I have undone several of your edits relating to NFL player positions, and I want to explain to you why I have made these changes and the importance of Wikipedia's policy on original research. Many of your edits have appeared to me to violate this policy. NFL player positions are taken from their NFL profile, or their team's official roster. To give an example, you recently changed Zach Kerr's position to defensive tackle, when his NFL profile page lists defensive end as his position. The Colts roster lists Kerr as a nose tackle, so either NT or DE would be acceptable, because reliable sourcing exists. Defensive tackle is unsourced as his position, and is not acceptable without sourcing. Furthermore, your edit summary ("Currently enlisted as DT. Besides, his weight is too bulky to tango as DE.") is both incorrect and appears to violate WP:OR. He is not listed as a defensive tackle on NFL or the Colts roster, and stating that "his weight is too bulky to tango as DE" is original research without reliable sourcing. As a minor add-on, please take note that positions are not proper nouns, and should not have each word capitalized in the infobox ("Defensive end", not "Defensive End"). You can and will be blocked from editing, as you have been twice in the past, if you continue to add original research to pages, so please stop. Trut-h-urts man (TC) 19:37, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In other truths and cases, teams have their own style of defense. Some sources other than NFL have different positions enlisted, which equals no original research. Some teams use 3-4 schemes while others use 4-3 schemes. Some players, according to NFL, have their own types of positions, but the thing to watch out for is their weight. For example, if a player is over 300 pounds, it can play DE in 3-4 schemes, but in other cases, it can play that same position in 4-3 schemes. The lone DT (a.k.a. NT) usually or commonly outweighs every other lineman in a 3-4 type scheme, so you have to be more precise on focusing on a player's weight before their position is legit enough after viewing the source. More ever, outside linebackers are commonly a little heavier than inside/middle linebackers. If the NFL source about a player's position (or any other source) is incorrect about a player's position, then that's no original research, so the best strategy to do is to focus more on a player's weight, then list their position. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 20:33, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's clear that you have a good understanding of the NFL's defensive schemes, but I feel like you're missing the point I'm trying to make with regards to editing Wikipedia. "If the NFL source about a player's position (or any other source) is incorrect about a player's position... the best strategy to do is to focus more on a player's weight, then list their position" - this part of your response is especially concerning to me. Wikipedia editors don't get to decide what a player's position is, or whether or not NFL is incorrect. We also don't get to change a position based on a player's weight and/or personal knowledge of NFL defensive schemes. That's original research - inserting or changing information on a page based on your own personal knowledge or opinion. The other sources for player positions are irrelevant when compared to NFL.com, as NFL.com is the official source. A player's listed position on their Wikipedia page should always match the position listed on NFL or on that player's team's official roster (often they are the same). You did actually send me it over your email, so I wasn't attacking, I'm just sharing some experience I have with Wikipedia pages. I have 2 years of experience here, so I know a lot of the basic rules on Wikipedia (such as talk pages, sources, Japanese romanization style, etc., since I can translate Japanese, but I'm not always 100% sure since I'm not a native speaker of Japanese). Also, I don't know if this was you so we can put that case behind us, there's always username coincidences and VideoGamePhenom is somewhat of a shared name (not a common name though, but somewhat shared). To tell you the truth, there has been a dilemma on YouTube, indeed. One user is vandalizing another user on that site by making false copyright claims, and there is no such thing as a flawed bot system. I'm only giving you a head's up about this. There's nothing else to fear. 50.29.199.144 (talk) 21:16, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No, the copyright complaint system is what's flawed as anyone can send a copyright claim and it'll go through even if they don't own the video. The humans reviewing the video on YouTube's end will process the claim anyway; that's what's flawed. We don't use talk pages to complain about intersite YouTube drama and edit war by constantly reverting a single edit over and over again. / The copyright issue is resolved for anyone seeing this, I sent retractions for the IP user's videos to be restored on his channel on YouTube.
