Hi
On the Linux page you changed the release description from sixteenth LTS to seventeeth LTS.
Any reason for this? sources?
GruensFroeschli (talk) 07:04, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the clear up. I somehow missed that 3.16 became LTS in between.

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Thomas & Friends (series 2), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please see WP:KIDSTVDATES. SummerPhDv2.0 02:33, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 3). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 02:37, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 2), you may be blocked from editing. This is a British show. SummerPhDv2.0 13:54, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Thomas & Friends (series 7). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you continue to make unsourced, unexplained changes to dates in articles, you will be blocked from editing. Please see WP:KIDSTVDATES. SummerPhDv2.0 21:30, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! SummerPhDv2.0 21:33, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Thomas & Friends (series 2) while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. He's quarreled with me too. I've had to notice that he tries to force his opinion as well as his interpretations of the Wiki rules on everyone and is not ready to discuss. --Maxl (talk) 22:05, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Power management keys. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. April Fools' was over! It was an April Fools' Day AfD! (Or was it?) - YudsWiki2003

April 2017

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 1). You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: .  NeilN talk to me 00:28, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was just fixing some Thomas articles YudsWiki2003 (talk) 00:50, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:35, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Admins can still see the deleted pages you created. --NeilN talk to me 00:53, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 3). Again, please do not change dates in articles without explaining where the correct dates came from or citing a reliable source. Please see WP:KIDSTVDATES. SummerPhDv2.0 19:36, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It clearly says on the article "...which was first broadcast for the U.S. in 1991 as part of Shining Time Station, and followed a year later for the U.K. YudsWiki2003 (talk) 20:04, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
1) Your edit did not include anything to explain why you were changing the dates. In the future, please explain your edit with an edit summary or by citing a reliable source.
2) Before your edit, the article gave one date while the text implied a different date. You changed the date given to match what the text implied. How did you determine which was right and which was wrong? (It would seem to be equally likely that the date was right and the text was wrong) - SummerPhDv2.0 20:36, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The text was right and the date was wrong. YudsWiki2003 (talk) 20:54, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have a source for that? How would anyone looking at your edit have any idea what you were doing? - SummerPhDv2.0 23:33, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Thomas & Friends does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

I didn't log out. Someone must have logged me out. YudsWiki2003 (talk) 22:36, 24 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You have edited while logged out repeatedly. You will need to check that you are logged in BEFORE editing.
Given your extensive history of trying to change the country of origin for Thomas -- against all sources, advice and discussions -- this edit was a really bad idea. Do not change the country of origin for any Thomas related article without discussion beforehand. If you do, you will end up discussing your editing at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. While I am not an admin, I feel quite confident that you will be blocked from editing. If you do not understand why we say it is a British show, we can discuss the issue. If you just want to say it is an American show or otherwise change the information, there is nothing to discuss. - SummerPhDv2.0 04:11, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm very sorry! I'll revert the changes on the Thomas and Friends articles when I get unblocked! (If I get unblocked.) :,( YudsWiki2003 (talk) 00:54, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but you've had months of being told to stop making changes without providing reliable sources to back them up (including in at least one case, repeatedly making the same unsourced and incorrect change after being told to stop) - just look at all the warnings on this talk page - and you have paid no attention whatsoever . I suggest the WP:Standard Offer is the best you can hope for now - and I think it will do you good to spend six months doing other things than editing Wikipedia. Unblock request 3

This user is asking that his block be reviewed:

YudsWiki2003 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I want to edit my user page and sandbox. YudsWiki2003 (talk) 23:52, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:
