If no offer sheet is given, the player will receive a one year contract with the Chiefs for a salary based on the tender placed on the player, $2.879 million for a first, $2.023 million for a second, or $1.323 million for an original round tender.

2019 opponents
On January 21, the NFL announced that the Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers in the International Series at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, with the Chargers serving as the home team. The game will be televised in the United States, with the exact date, kickoff time and network to be announced in conjunction with the release of the 2019 regular season schedule.[2]
