The 8th Streamy Awards honored the best in American web television programming as chosen by the Streamys Blue Ribbon Panel. The ceremony was held live on October 22, 2018, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, and streamed on YouTube.[1] The ceremony was hosted by The Try Guys with presenters including Eva Gutowski, Mamrie Hart, Grace Helbig, Liza Koshy, LaurDIY, Tana Mongeau, Patrick Starrr, BlameItOnKway, Molly Burke, Sofie Dossi, Katie Angel, Annie LeBlanc, Elle Mills, Jason Nash, Trisha Paytas, Poppy, Andrea Russett, Alyson Stoner, Christine Sydelko, Nick Viall, and Gus Kenworthy.[2][3]

On October 9, 2018, the Streamys Brand Awards were held at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, California and hosted by Alisha Marie and Remi Cruz. The awards honored notable achievements in digital marketing.[4] On October 18, 2018, the Purpose Awards @ The Streamys were held during the IAB Digital Content NewFronts West at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles and hosted by Jay Shetty. The awards recognized digital creators, brands, and nonprofits who have used their influence for a greater good.[5]
