The Game Award for Best Role Playing Game is an award is an award presented annually by The Game Awards to the game judged to be the best of the role-playing game from that calendar year. Role-playing video games revolve around the player character. Players can customize and control their character to however they see fit. Each year there are five nominees. The winners in 2014 and 2015 also won game of the year.
