Noyemberyan (Armenian: Նոյեմբերյան; Azeri: Barana) is a city in northeast of Armenia in the Tavush province. It is located on the river Koghb, 198 km from Yerevan and in 22 km from railway station Ayrum, on the Yerevan-Tbilisi route. Azerbaijan's border is only few kilometers from the city.

To the south of city there are slopes of Voskepar ridge, to the North and the West - Gugarats ridge.

Vicinities of Noyemberyan, in particular highway from Noyemberyan to Ijevan, are periodically fired upon from Azerbaijan's side with a range or different weapons.

Sport
